I wouldn't dare show you a picture of the rest of my living room

I've moved the tree out of the bay window, I haven't got any net curtains and my mam pointed out that I might get robbed if I leave the presents on display... The rest of my house is a tip, I've decided now's the time for spring cleaning

I love the tree! What a shame we have to worry about such things as robbery but that's the society we're in. I don't put my tree up till the 18th,

Thank you! I'm the kind of person who assumes I won't get burgled, but my mam reminds me how to think realistically

We're lucky in that respect! Most of them are for Leonard, but obviously I'll mainly get to open them because he doesn't even know what presents are yet

Where have you been hiding. I enjoyed interacting with you in the good old days. Yes. Don't show us your living room. You see I like a neat place.

It was a combination of a few things that made me put it up.. It's a good way to procrastinate while still completing a task I'd be doing eventually anyway, l like it, and my mam brought my decorations round almost two weeks ago and they were making my house look untidy

You too How are you doing? I can be a bit of a hoarder so phase one of my spring cleaning is to get rid of a load of stuff I don't need, then phase two is to pretend to myself that one day I'll stop being a hoarder

Good thanks! How are you? Leonard's doing really well He's starting to learn how to get up on all fours now, and he's shuffling around backwards so I really can't take my eyes off him any more He's also just sprouted his fourth tooth...

Ah, you see, family presents go under the tree, and Father Christmas leaves his in the child's pillowcase at the end of their bed on Christmas eve

You're leaving the wrapped presents lying under the tree for weeks? I've never heard anything like that. This is torture! :-) Especially when there are children around. This is certainly not done in Germany. The presents appear only on Christmas day.

Yeah that's what we do! The presents under the tree are from family, and they build up over the course of the month, then on Christmas eve Father Christmas comes and fills up the pillowcase left at the end of the child's bed

I've essentially got one room in a very nice building Most US people have a bigger bathroomthey don't always get the size of our houses. It's small but very very clean as I clean daily.

My house is clean but messy I clean and tidy every day, but then when I'm looking after Leonard I tend to just chuck stuff over my shoulder and deal with it later.. I've got a big living room by my standards, but I'm sure it would be laughable to Americans
