Do you remember Your - First Love - First Crush

January 24, 2017 12:52pm CST
Okay, so everyone at some point fall in love with someone. I read few making a point that we never forget our first love in Mylot as well. That interests me to ask few questions - Do you remember your first love - First Crush you had ? Have you ever talked with your first crush ? Are you still in contact with him/her ? Is there any funny story attached with your First Love and First Crush ? If you ask me, I do remember her, she used to sit in last bench of class room. Sweet - Innocent and decent girl. I never talked with her, I never approached her. Since I got a hint she had a Boy friend or so. Never mind. What's your story

LOL! You are such an innocent, my King! (grinning at you!) Yes, I remember my first few loves. How could I not? LOL! I remember seeing her every day. She was always waiting for me at our house when I got home from school. She was the first I talked to after I got off the bus, rain or shine. I remember her loving eyes staring at me, pleading with me to say something, anything so she had a reason to respond to me. It was the best feeling when love shone from her dark brown eyes at me when I would pull the freshest, most succulent, green grass and let her eat it from my hand. Her muzzle was so soft as it delicately scraped across my palm, the little hairs tickling my fingers while she ate her offering of grass. I will never forget her! Uhm... was that too graphic for you, Raja? I was not trying to embarrass you, talking of our love for each other. I have many such stories, if you ever want to hear them? (grinning at you!) Unfortunately, Shetland Ponies don't live as long as human beings... She did live an extremely long life for her species. As she became older, first I stopped riding her, letting her out of her pasture so she could follow along behind, nibbling on the most tender grasses I could locate for her. Gradually, she became old enough that we put her into the stable to protect her from the elements. She turned almost pure silver from age. One day when I got home from school and ran to see her in her box stall, I found her laying on her side, barely breathing. When the vet arrived, he shook his head and said there was nothing more he could do for her. I sat with her and stroked her long muzzle as I listened to her breath whistling into and out of her lungs. Tears began to fall when she stopped breathing. Most horses/ponies, even those who are part of a large family, as ours were are sent to the knackers when they die. I pleaded with dad to bury her on our farm. I couldn't stand the thought that she might be part of the next bottle of glue I used in school. Dad used our farm tractor to dig a hole big enough for her, then again used the tractor to pull her into the hole. He then scooped the dirt back over her while I and the rest of our family cried rivers enough to float her to her version of heaven. I know that when I pass away, she will be waiting for me. Instead of the old and vulnerable mare she became, she will once again be the young and beautiful mare I fell in love with all those years ago. (That is a bittersweet memory, my friend. She was loved very much!) I do hope you liked my memory of my first love. Edit to add: Here, @vandana7, @hora_fugit, @yukimori, @pgntwo, @Daljinder, @Drosophila, @TheHorse, @sishy7, @mysdianait, @rebelann, @purplealabaster, @topffer, @just4him, @moffittjc, @VivaLaDani13, @painsonslate and @akalinus is the story of my first love. I do hope you all like it. Thank you for responding to my call. I do appreciate that.

Yes I do and he was responsible for me not trusting another male for years and more years later too. We had already split up but he sent a Valentine card just the same and wrote "Better to have loved and lost - much better where you're concerned" and I have never forgotten even though almost fifty years have passed

@LadyDuck I had a crush in first grade, and our parents actually took us to a concert together. In fourth or fifth grade, I was a real Mac Daddy, and my dad took me and Lisa D. bowling. But by Jr. High, I was pretty petrified of girls. You were supposed to kiss them and stuff.

Yes I remember my First real Crush, and we dated from 13 to 15. I remember when I moved how he would not talk to me the last night I seen him even and how it hurt. His name was Randy. He is 11 days older than I am. I remember when I was in College finding out he got married, and wishing it was me. We have been able to get back in contact via Facebook but since we are both married now it is more of an acquaintance type.

@KrauseHome That is what I like/hope to hear! (Not that it is really my business, though.) I simply was speaking to everyone on Raja's thread and dislike leaving anyone out of the conversation. My pc says I've only spoken to you the one time. Hello! I am very happy to meet you here on myLot! I do hope you are enjoying yourself and we will see each other often!

Honestly, it is a good thing to leave it as acquaintances... There are far too many stories about people who located a "lost love" on Fb, reunited with them, got divorced from their spouse and then discovered their "lost love" was not the catch they thought they had! SMH!

I don't think I remember much about my past, or maybe I chose to forget them. I only look forward for what's coming for me. So, I only see the front side, not the back side.

@ramapo17 it happens when we have a crush on a teacher then we always try to work hard in that subject which he or she teaches us. It happened with me as I passed maths with very good marks. My friends were surprised how I passed in maths that too with such good grade.

Probably wasn't my first, but I remember a crush I had on my high school French teacher. He was just so 'French' and he looked like Robert Redford. I knew though there would never be anything more than a one-sided crush, practically every girl in his class had a crush on him...

Honestly, sishy, you were probably very lucky you went to school when you did. If you went to school now, you and your crush could have been in the news for making the animal with two backs! (There were two such incidents in my high school while I was a student there and another incident where it was one female teacher and several young men, too.) SMH! Lack of morals and lack of good sense, I believe!

I guess my first crush was a boy called Paul at primary school when I was about 8 and he was 9 or 10. When he left the school he gave me the pot plant that he had kept on the windowsill. It was one of those moments where you feel as if something might happen - but I didn't know what to do or say so it just passed. Now we are all middle-aged (and would be totally unsuited to each other) and I haven't seen him for many years but I still have the descendants of the same spider plant!

Long story short, he went and served a church mission, I married someone else, he married one of my friends 3 months after I got married. Yes we still are in touch on Facebook. Chat every once in awhile. Life is way too short to hate.

Yes, I remember my first crush. I sat in the seat behind her at school. I never really spoke to her and I don't think she ever knew I had a crush on her. After school I did not ever see her again but strangely enough I found my best friend on facebook from my school years and I saw her on his friends list. Thinking she might remember me I sent a friend request. I don't know if she remembered me or not but at least she was willing to friend me. She is married now with a family of her own. I am too and I am quite content. :-)
