What A Game

We usually watch the Superbowl as a family event, but for the commercials, since none of us are really footballs fans. Since the Falcons were there last night though, we decided to go ahead and watch at least a little bit of the game. We watched it all and let me say ....What a game! It was very exciting. I really did not "have a dog in the race" but we were pleased to see the Falcons take the lead (since we are in GA) and we were very impressed by the Patriots comeback as well. I have to say, I did pay attention, sat on the edge of my seat, and enjoyed the game very much.
I am not a Lady Gaga fan, but she did a good job on the halftime show. She did seem to put a lot of energy into the show. Great job.
Now to my favorite commercial, I really really liked the Melissa McCarthy Kia commercial, where she is saving the world. Way to funny!
I also liked the Weather tech commercial where they set out to save the car from a spill. If only customer service went half that far these days!
The worst had to be that Journey 84 . com commercial, it went on forever and said nothing. I was ready to bang my head on the coffee table!
We also saw the Fast & Furious 8 previews, as the mother of a young man that loves cars and fast cars, we have watched all of them. But the previews for this one looked really really exciting and good. I am looking forward to it.

i did not watch any ballgame last Sunday, but i checked on a local basketball game and my favorite team won

@mom210 indeed i was so happy, but last night's game also gave me a low tide---my team lost with 11 points deficit.

We flipped back and forth with the game. Not a big fan of football. Love that picture of your family. Who is missing?

@mom210 I hate he missed a trip to the beach but at least he was able to earn some cash. Nice to have someone to take care of the animals and hold down the fort as well.

@Shellyann36 He works part time & goes to college so no vacation time to ask for. It did make me feel bad he missed out though.

@PatZAnthony Yes, trying to get back into the swing of things again. Life has been a bit crazy here. One of my daughter competes in gymnastics and we end of being out of town a lot of weekends for it.

@mom210 crazy freak thing of hitting head in the wrong place while in my kitchen! i was in the fridge bending over, my daughter opened the freezer, i stood up. hit it just "right" for a concussion. crazy.

I dont like Falcons or Patriots (i live in new england though, lol) but still watched most the game. Not a fan of lady gaga either, but she did do an alright concert. Couldve been a little better though.

I only watched the Lady Gaga show on YouTube but will look for the commercials. I'm not really much of a sports fan. However, I do like soccer.

I saw the last five minutes and OT of the game. My son was here and we were watching a program on Netflix. We turned to the game only for the score and some of the halftime program. I saw the commercials on YouTube. The only one I can remember is the McDonald commercial. That one was pretty good.
