I was just reading a discussion by @Hatley and she mentionned a song Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah. Of course, I had to go and checked it on YouTube right away. And that is when I saw another song on the right side of the screen Another song that I used to love and that I had completely forgot about. Now, I am glad that I can keep it on my list of favorites onYouTube. GALE GARNETT - We'll Sing In The Sunshine (1965)

Those were two great old, oldies weren't they? I don't know whether I'd put them for something to listen to on a regular basis, but if my mom lives a while it may be good to add them to the oldies we have burned on a cd for her already.

@vandana7 If I played it during those hours no one else in the family would be able to sleep. I don't have a smartphone to listen to stuff like that and probably won't for a few years yet.

@marlina I enjoyed it very much. Then we felt lack of West information and this was a great priority to know it.

I know a lot of the words to that song, when I worked as an Activity Director with seniors, we used to sing that song during our sing-songs. Its a happy uplifting song-too bad there is little sunshine here this afternoon!

@marlina I just loved being the Activity Director, crafts, sit down fitness, trivia, woodworking, happy hour, bus trips and outings, what's not to love! We are getting rain here currently. The grass is greening up nicely!

I didn't know about Gale Garnett, I thought it was strictly a Dean Martin song. I guess you learn something new every day! She has a nice voice. It's also refreshing to watch these old videos and remember a time when bands and singers didn't feel the need to gyrate madly or jump around the stage. I guess audiences back then were easier to please, too.

Gyrating madly or jumping around the stage with all those awful lights drive me nuts on a video.
