Do you still remember your primary school friends?

Hello friends, Very recently I have created a private group on Facebook with the aim to reunite all my primary school's classmates. They have been a precious part of my childhood and reconnecting with them after almost 17 years would bring back all those childhood memories. So far, I have managed to find around 10 classmates. I had a class size of around 35 students. I wish I manage to get almost all of them in the group as I am looking forward to then plan a lunch soon. It will be so good to catch up, to share what we have become, how our journeys have been so far. Have you ever had this idea in mind - to meet your primary school friends again or do you still remember all of them?

I'm friends on Facebook with a few people I knew from primary school. I didn't have many friends then so there aren't many. Most of the people I remember are people who were either bullies or would have no idea who I am. So a reunion doesn't really appeal to me! I keep in touch with my 'best' friend. We lost touch after leaving secondary (high) school until I had my first child 3 years later. Since then, we meet up once a month or so. There's a reunion coming up for my secondary school (it's been 20 years this year since we left). I went to the last one but I haven't decided whether to go to that or not. Not least because most of my friends from that school were in different years so won't be there. I have, however, considered a reunion of my old college friends. There was a small reunion a few years ago but I didn't find out about it until after the event. I would actually quite like to see some of those people again.

I do remember most of them because this was really the first period of social life that we experience.

I understand. I am glad that at least one of them is still in contact. Maybe you should set out to try to reunite some more of them. Thank you for responding.

@excellence7 I heard from that one friend that they had some reunions organized - but I live overseas and I don't do Facebook so it's kinda hard for me to join the group.

Our year group meet regularly but only every few years. Over a decade or so we have managed to locate most of our former classmates. It is nice to catch up with them and find out how their life turned out.

That would be good; maybe a coffee time, lunch or dinner. I can see you are from Mumbai. I have been there few times. I like that city. I was residing in Andheri, near Jogeshwari, during my stay.
