Mylot: you help me have a full life

Mylot adds a lot to my life. It's true! I would be wasting away in my bed with no friends to talk to if I didn't have mylot. I really get to know people here through the posts they write. I love when the users share their lives. Many times I can relate to what they have been going through.

my fellow TBI-survivors would say "That's a step in the right direction!"
They say you have to 'get out into society to live most-fully,' but I don't see why I have to go any further than "right here" ... if I am fully-satisfied by interaction online (myLot, Facebook, Blogger, PatientsLikeMe, etc.), what do I need 'more of the world' for?

@OreoBrownie Still, there's 'something fulfilling' about reminding- & being reminded by-your friends that 'you uphold your duty in life' when they uphold theirs

@mythociate exactly. I am housebound and none of my offline friends don't visit. I live at least 25 miles away and more. When I was in respite in hospice, two friends visited because I was closer to them.

@Happy2BeMe I think it is important to spread the love and talk of the difference the other users have made you feel better. I have had less pain this week. This week I have been more active on mylot. Mylot makes me smile inside.

Me, too. I particularly like it when people show us pictures of their pets or what it looks like where they live. Travel pictures are always entertaining, it's the only way I'll see new places!

Most of my non-work social life takes place on the internet. Mostly facebook. Maybe I need to spend more time sharing the lives of people here on mylot.

Mylot has given me new friends.I have been paid twice by mylot third payment by mylot coming in May.
