Good morning everyone. My baby Josiah thought 6:30 would be a lovely time to wake me so here I am...Lol. Other than being up earlier than usual I slept well.
Here's my thoughts this morning... I know more about "some" of y'all (through your words/thoughts) than some of your friends do offline. Y'all know more about my situation right now than my own parents do. 
It's true.
I was thinking about the fact that true friends can be made here and have been made here. I was also thinking there are those of you that I will forever have your backs here or anywhere when you need it, and those that have changed my perspective about themselves entirely. It's cool. 
Someone messaged me the other day and said wow your popular here. I get a good amount of responses but the true friends I have here are much more important to me than the number of responses I get.
Anyway, it's God's day. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Things will get better for us with time.
You see, God gives my family the same tests over and over. We at least know we will get through this. I'm grateful it's not a more difficult test, like major health issues.

I'm glad that you realize that you're cared for and have dear friends that honestly do care for you.
And for myself, I don't think that its a case that I know so many details about you, but rather how you treat me and what you write about-your loving family.

@Juliaacv I do, thank you. Here's why I mentioned the point of how much you know...I have more trust in my friends like you here than I have in my own parents. It should scream volumes what my friendships here mean to me.

My husband calls the friends I have here my fake friends. Little does he know that I have bonded with so many that I can truly call them friends. I wish that we all lived closer so we could visit. Sadly, many live far away.

@LovingMyBabies my sister's husband tells her that she has fake friends too. Internet friends are not real friends.

@ElusiveButterfly Internet friends are real friends as we know. Just because they are not face to face doesn't mean they aren't real friends.
For example, a friend from here fed us when we were hungry. I have offline friends who didn't help in any way. I consider my online friend a true and real friend.

Many of my online friends know me better than people I know in real life do. In fact people on here probably know more about the things I go through than my own partner does, at least emotional-wise. He knows I have mental health issues and he's seen how it affects me but he doesn't know exactly WHAT I go through, what my thought process is and all that.
If it wasn't for myLot, some days I wouldn't socialize with anyone. I am pretty much a recluse these days who stays at home and talks to my cat. So I am grateful to have friendships on here to help me not feel completely nuts!

@Srbageldog I agree. My husband knows me very well but there are some things I don't share with him. When I was having a really hard time, he knew that but he didn't know how bad it was.
I understand because it's the same for me. I don't drive and I'm a stay at home mom so the only social life I have is at church and on Mylot. =)
I'm also very grateful for my friends here!

While it is true that I have bonded closely with a couple of people on this site, I still make sure that I don't substitute my online friends for my real-life friends. Actually, that didn't come out the way I wanted to. What I mean is, we still have to make time for our real-life friends. I know several people who just become so completely engulfed in being online, that they lose all the real-life friends around them because they stop talking to them or hanging out with them. There needs to be a balance.
One of the things I do dislike about relationships I built up online is the distance some of these people are from me. I would love to meet and hang out with them in real life, but because of the distance there are some that I may not ever meet in real life.

I woke up early too..and was up late with some nutcases in the neighborhood making noise and racing their cars...so weird cuz that never happens here! I hope you had a great day.

Yes, you are popular here and that is because you are so caring about others. We have all come to know you and you are family to us. We know that you would be here for us if we needed help. That makes a big difference. You, are the one that has made yourself so well known and liked here. That is nothing to be ashamed of. @LovingMyBabies I am glad that I made your morning. I just spoke the truth and the way I feel in my heart. God has plans for you young lady. I guess right now maybe he is seeing how much you can handle and how you handle it. Does that make sense?

I think we can make friends using words, and the good thing about the internet is that we can focus on other people when we have time, which gives us a better chance of catching each other to talk. The problem with internet is that some unsavory characters are around.

Online friends can certainly know more about you then in person friends, or even family. And you can feel closer to them as well.
All my friends are online, cause in person friends aren't that great.
But you're an amazing person, so strong and kind. And I'm here for ya always

@LovingMyBabies same. It surprising how close you can be to someone you never personally met. But I wouldnt change the friends I have for anything.
