Feel Good TV For a Change

I know I'm stating the obvious when I say a lot of bad things are on television right now. I like it when something positive comes along. I thought I would share a few shows that leave me feeling better after I have watched them. One is American Ninja Warrior, which airs on NBC. I cannot believe the obstacles some people overcome. One man even found a kidney donor for his infant daughter because he appeared in the show. Another contestant was an amputee who managed to complete part of the course anyway. It's just inspiring.
Two other are related: Little Big Shots, and Little Big Shots: Forever Young (both on ABC). A lot of you have probably seen Little Big Shots, which features kids with amazing talent, or have shown special personality traits that caught people's attention. I will never forget the little girl from the Philippines who sold bananas to help provide for her family. It was amazing to hear her sing. She brought like 12 people from her family in the Philippines to watch her perform.
The Forever Young spin off is elderly people showing special talents. The people are extraordinary. From an opera singer whose friends never knew he could sing, to a showgirl in her 90s who still performs.
Do you have any positive shows you can recommend? Have you ever seen those I mentioned?

I just do not watch television, but I know lots of people like Little Big Shots.

I like America's Got Talent..and many of those people have overcome major obstacles in their lives as well. The human spirit sometimes triumps over all odds, but of course it helps if you have a mega talent!!

I have seen bits and pieces of the little big shots and ninja warrior. But didnt like them too much

I don't really watch TV.. just Netflix occasionally. My son is obsessed with The Flash, so we were watching that. It's not really like inspirational, but it's fun.

I'm familiar with American Ninja Warrior. We recently had a local version of Little Big Shots. Little Big Shots: Forever Young is new to me but I'd like to see that show as well.

I do Little big shots, I have only seen it a few times but it's so cute. I also enjoy American Ninja Warrior, my husband and I both enjoy that one. =)
