Girls Day and Lunch

Happy Friday Everyone! I'm so surprised that it's raining. I really shouldn't be surprised because it's rained every day this week. I really thought the forecast said sun for today but I'm wrong. It's getting depressing having cloudy skies and rain almost every day.
Today my two daughters and I were going to go out and have lunch. We used to do this every Thursday but somewhere along the way life got busy, they both didn't have the same days off from work, etc. We planned to go out somewhere nice for lunch today since both of them are off.
I was/am looking forward to it but with the pouring rain I don't know if we'll go out.
Otherwise my older daughter will come here since she lives close by and we'll have lunch here and stay in.
Either way I"m happy since we'll all be together and I'm sure we'll be able to figure out something for lunch. After all, it isn't what we're eating that's the most important but that we're together.
That's my plans for today.

I am glad you are getting together with your daughters, girl time is always special. I stayed in today I had Jack with me all day. Did the dishes, a load of wash, cooked pork chops for lunch and fried eggs for dinner, that is my day.

It finally feels like summer has finally arrived. I even noticed that I have a wee bit of a burn on my shoulders. Definitely need to increase the amount of sunblock I'm using!!

I am relaxing today and working online. The kids are still asleep. Those little boogers stayed up late last night watching a movie. I really feel like going back to sleep! LOL, I hope you enjoy your lunch with your girls!

You are so right, it isn't at all about what we eat, so much as it is the company we share the meal with.
I went to the doctor's office this morning and then for x-rays on my foot.
I just heard back that the toe is broken and the foot slightly sprained, but no broken bones in my foot.
I have to go out and get some shopping done, a friend of mine asked if she could call me around 2:30, that's when she takes her 30 minute lunch, and she has been trying to call me but I've just not been home.

Yeah! You're exactly right. The place is not a matter, the person with whom we are spending time together, matters. Have a nice time with your daughters :)
