Fashion! Have Women Lost their Heads?

It's a fact that most of what's on the runways never makes it into mainstream clothing stores. Why? Because it's effing ridiculous, that's why. I think they HAVE lost their heads, and probably their souls, too. ;-)

kind of reminds you of the Lucy episode when she goes to Paris and Ricky tricks her when he said he would get her a Paris dress and hat to match....lol

silly woman would need a white stick as she couldn't possibly see where she was going , daft sod . bet it cost a blooming fortune as well , the only time I have worn a hat in years was when my sons got married , and guess what ? I never wore them again lol ( still have them though ) xx

Oh my goodness, did I have a big laugh. It looks like human hair woven into a basket. hahhahaha. It seems that some people will do just about anything for attention or money making. It's not for me for sure. I will stick to my cowgirl hat. I'm giving you a + for a great post again. Thanks so much.

Well I do not wear hats lol but I have to say I certainly would not wear that one. I hate to think who thought of this one lol.

I think it looks like a strange basket and I don't think that I could imagaine any woman strolling down the street wearing it. However, couture fashion isn't really about designing things for people to wear every day. It really is more of an art. It's about creating concepts and ideas for the types of clothes that people would wear every day. It is usually a more extreme version of clothes that people actually would wear, and this hat is an example. =)

Nope, she did not lose her head, it is right there under that woven shaggy whatever. No real people wear "fashion" it just gives them ideas, and it makes what they do wear seem much more tame.

It is sometimes so much fun watching the new runway models and the new fashion shows. You wonder who in the world might even want to wear something like that! Here is a picture of some new shoes in Japan. I just couldn't even imagine!

no way!i thought it it was a lamp shade.lol instead of a hat.i sure hope i dont see anyone walking down the street with that thing on.im afraid i would have to start laughing at them.

I think it would be perfect for a junior member of the Royal Family. They love hats and the whackier the better seems to be their motto. LOL.

I'm sitting here laughing like crazy. It definately is the most ridiculous thing I ever seen anyone put on their head. I don't know what get's into these designer's head. They are crazy. Lloyd

I am no fashion plate example, I am more likely to be seen in jeans and tshirts with no shoes, but even with my lack of fashion know how, I have to say that is the ugliest hat I have ever seen. I do marvel at some of the things I see women wear and wonder in what closet they have left their brain.

The stuff we see on the fashion runways is usually couture stuff, and although it does get filtered down into high street shops and the like it'd only 'influenced', and not nearly as outrageous and wacky! Persoanlly, there's no way i'd wear something like that, maybe a model on a runway could allmost pull it off, but not me in my normal boring life, lol! I don't think anyone would wear it, but you never know. Certainly i bet the model even felt silly wearing it, but hey it's her job!

Hey guys where have you been... it's the latest fasion... a Hair Basket. Whenever you have a bad hair day just get out your Hair Basket and go....lol Hahah what will they come up with next. I don't think I know or have ever met anyone that would wear that...whatever it is...lol

Ha ha ha, that is a funny hat. I think some super fashionist people will dare to wear it. But me, I think it is far from my likes.
