Dreaming of a Toilet

YEP! LOL I don't know if you have that commercial where you live about Good Nites pants for kids? Where the girl says, "....I start dreaming of lakes and rivers and ponds..." LOL - that's me. I dream about water in all forms and then get up running! I have to tell a slightly off-color but funny memory... when I was still living at home, there was one night that I was awakened by a big ruckus in the house. My mom was stomping and running around and so was Dad... although, admittedly, he seemed to be laughing a lot more than Mom was. She seemed REALLY mad. At one point, I heard her in the basement, starting up the washer! I was afraid to leave my bedroom LOL Anyway, as it turns out, Dad had been having a dream about "relieving himself" against a fence (as men have been known to do in the great outdoors, right?)... but... ummmmmm... he wasn't against a FENCE -- and Mom never forgave him for such a rude awakening ;)

I have dreamed of needing to go to the bathroom and then woke needing to go badly. I have walked in my sleep however not since I was a teen. Fortunately it does not happen very often and I am glad since you had to go you were in the right place for it.

Lololol yes I have but so far I did get to bathroom lol and it is horrible cause after I lie there and think, imagine if that would have ensded up in the Bed lol

I don't know how my partner and I got on this topic the other day...but we were just talking about this yesterday! LOL And I had to tell him to stop telling me about his dream because I feared that if he told me about his dream, I would dream it, and it would happen to me. So, thanks...not only is he putting that thought into my head...now you. ha ha

OMG.. yes! One time my husband woke up, stood over my side of the bed and started going!!!! I'm screaming and he's going!!!! LOL Needless to say I was less then thrilled and he woke up going "What the?!!!"

Oh yes, I sure have. I am 36 yrs old and I did this just about 8 months ago! LOL (Can't believe I just admitted that!). But, I guarantee I am not the only adult who has dreamed of being on the toilet and actually peed the bed. LOL

Yes it has happened, lucky for me I have woke up in time.

When I was younger I had a narrow euretha which meant my bladder could not hold much(basically).There were a few times when "worse" happened but it did not affect my growing up in any (^^*(_)*^%* way that I am $*%(_*&^$( aware of.

Many of times and some of times I didnt make it.LOL Isnt that strange that we all have that kind of a dream.

Oh Elusive that has happened to me many times..lol I usually finish my business before I go to bed so I don't need to wake up at night, but sometimes its during those wee hours in the morning, where I'm urging to go and I'm dreaming I'm in a toilet..hehe! But I've never had bad experiences of not making it to the toilet..hehe...I wake up and then go...

Embarassed to say, that yes this has happened to me on a number of ocassions. Usually have a dream where I can't find a toilet and when I do I let loose and a little squirt usually gets out and wakes me up....hasn't happened in a while but will probably happen tonight now that it's in my head...LOL

Luckily, my bathroom adjoins my bedroom but sometimes it is still a race to see if I can make it in time when I wake up and the need to go is that strong.

I think this might be that you have drunk too much water before sleeping. Maybe it would be good practise to empty your bladder before sleeping. This might help you get an uninterrupted sleep. ;-)

Yes, it has happened to me before.. Maybe once or twice.. There was even one time that I dreamt I was brushing my teeth, and I spat out the toothpaste bubbles to rinse my mouth.. I suddenly woke up, and I realized I spat on my pillow.. It was pretty funny.. Hehehehe.. (n_n)

I had a couple accidents when I was younger when having that dream. It mostly happened on nights before a big event when I was nervous. As an adult I have had the dreams for no reason and wake up with JUST enough time to race down the hall (in the dark...bumping something on something HARD along the way) and make it to the toilet. I wonder if you had to go really bad and didn't have the dream if you would just wet the bed?

Yes, it´s happened to me more than once, even though I avoid drinking a lot of water before going to bed. Until now I´ve always made to the toilet. (Barely), lol.

You know...I don't remember why my dad started this same topic with my mom and I in the car. We did not want to have a dream about it...because it has never happened to us...so we both plugged our ears and hummed. And, how you are talking about it!! LOL How did this discussion come up?? Uhhh...I hope that you do not make me have this dream!! :)

I would imagine that everyone has had this happen to them at some point or another in their life. As said before, if not then they are lying! I have dreamed that I was on the toilet and actually started going. I woke up a little wet. That only happened once. I have had dreams but have woken up in time. Now I don't think I have those dreams anymore. I am always up a couple of times a night. 'Til the nature of my illness. At least I can get back to sleep again.

When I was seven years old and living at a convent school I had a dream of a duck and a bucket..the duck was saying to me..go relax do your we wee in the bucket..so in the dream I did..Only I woke up as soon as I wee weed in the bucket to find myself under the bed..cold and full of wee wee..it was awful and embarassing to say the least..

yep i have been the done that..in fact i do this quite often because i awful for bringing a glass of water to bed with me to bed because of my asthma..I cough during the night and after i take my puffer i need to drink something..so I'll be dreaming of sitting on the toilet and that nice feeling of release and that warm and then its the race ...over one cat phew made it hit the coffee table that's going to leave a bruise just miss the garbage can dang there's the other cat jump over here finally the toilet i don't even bother to switch on the light suddenly splash I'm sitting in very cold water because hubby left the seat up... oh goody now i have to shower off good grief..or there have been the times i haven't woken up and its to late and the warm feeling has spread down my legs and on to the bed and then suddenly I'm awake again saying words unbecoming to a lady stripping the bed showering off good grief since I'm up i might as well check mylot lol hugs Cheryl
