what are the good digital cameras to buy

does anyone have any advise on any good digital band cameras to buy? going on a trip and want a good one to take pics.

royzjeff Almost any top brands would be a good choice. If you want to travel lightly then maybe a slim point and shoot camera would be a good pick. Megapixel between 4-6 would be nice enough for normal print.

Some people can't stand to fly in an airplane. I've never traveled in an airplane before so yeah I would be somewhat nervous.
