With digital cameras so widely used, do you have many newer paper pics?  

That is so true, but we buy photo paper at our house and print them out, just now we have the ability to change out the pictures more than we used to. I think the day of keeping the photos in boxes or albums will be gone and we will store them on the computer, which to me is the best thing, just a photo quality printer and you are set.

An indication that you may be on to something I do not know about that little country to the south eh!(picked that just for you ) but to show what I mean the Banks use to have pass books..papers to fill in for a deposit etc now they are going paperless ....My investment company sends letters asking if i really want all the mail they send...I hope the VCR doesnot go dodo like ..what about my 10,000 VHS tapes My point here is that things they are a changing and we can do little to stop technology and things moving forward..Its is expensive but with the right paper you can print from the pictures buried in hard drive folders..My most precious photos are from the 40's and 50's black and white photos and priceless today Good Luck I am smiling ,just combed my hair and am ready for you to snap an old looking Brad Pitt..Say Cheese

I do a lot of storing, but I also still to do scrapbooking & putting photos on frames on the walls. So I'll print out as I want/need them. I print them myself, I never take them anywhere to print like film photos.

I think there will also be paper pictures...I don't see it going away at all.

i get copies of the ones i like and keep an album of them all just incase the disc get wrecked usually have 2 copies but i still like prints of great pics that i take

I really don't think paper pictures will become obsolete. They may not have the popularity that they used to but there are still a lot of folks who don't have computers. Nothing beats a nice family portrait on a wall or a graduation photo of your child. I know there are camcorders that can capture the memorable moments but having a tangible photo to share is priceless.

I have both. I store them on my computer but I print them myself. I still like to carry some in my wallet and put others up around the house. I have really made some nice portraits. Friends have asked for copies so I get a kick out of printing them.

I understand completely. I haven't really made a paper copy of photos in awhile now. Except for family members that don't have internet I email them, etc. I have so many that are still on my digital as well as on computer. I do believe I'll have to eventually make copies for myself if nothing else, just in case my computer takes a you-know-what and I lose them all. I should have a large photo album to put them in.

I often think I am giving away more paper pictures than when I was using film. We can print the photos and don't have to take them some where to have them develpoed. If you want one I cna print it for in in a couple of minutes.

I take pictures in digital and analog cams and if I consider the occasion important I still prefer to use the film camera. Digital pictures are great but there has been some concern on their storage. So if its for no particular occasion I take pics on the digicam and for the more important ones on film or on both.

I mostly store our pics online too and I have ordered a few now and then to send to my sons grandparents, since we live so far away. Might actually look into buying a photo printer and doing them myself.!
