That Poor Child  

That is sad and I hate to see it, especially with so many people that would give anything to have a child of their own. This reminds me of a story regarding my daughter. Before my daughter became pregnant and when she was carrying my granddaughter and probably the first few months of her life my daughter has such a potty mouth, everything out of her mouth was F this and F that, it was so bad that I thought for sure my grandbaby's first words would be the F word. I kept reminding her that children minick their parents for words, when my granddaughter said her first bad word I laughed, thought it was quite funny, here I had been saying it all along and never even stopping what she was doing. Well that stopped her mouth when she heard her baby start to say it. My granddaughter is almost 3 years old and nowdays you won't hear a curse word out of my daughter's mouth, it is a blessing that she finally realized the harm it would do, I wish others would be as blessed.

Yes I certainly have. My mother in law is one of those people and her children all have serious emotional problems. All I can say is some people don't deserve children.

Yes, I have seen a lot of those. But what do you say to a mother who swears and shouts crap at her child at one time and becomes overly sweet the next time. She would hug and shower the child with kisses many times during the day but when the child does not obey her she instantly turns into a fire-spitting dragon. I do not know what to say to this, but I think there is something wrong with the parenting style.

I find some peoples behaviour totally unacceptable i think they need a class in parenting skills and being shown what happens to children who don't get the love they deserve!
My youngest used to drive me crazy she was for ever sitting in queues or refusing to budge but shouting or screaming doesn't work

I used to feel like this a lot when I was deperately trying to get pregnant. i woudl feel that I could give a better life to the child than the parents seemed to have done. I am very lucky now that I have twin sons from my first attempt at fertility treatment. Now when I see people doing this I think that the children must love their parents and there must be love there from the parents so it would be mean to separate them. I do think though that this is probably the type of child that grows up to be a delinquent - however, I do not like to judge as I am not the perfect parent myself.

I saw exactly the same yesterday when I was out shopping in Torquay, I was outside Tesco's waiting for my daughter to come out and there was a woman there (quite skinny actually although not sure how that makes a difference) She had a double buggy and a small 3 or four year old child with her. This young child was wandering off and she was shouting 'Blade' (which I can only presume was this poor child's name) and then for F*** sake I'm already missing F***ing Angel. I thought she was missing the program but turns out to be another child she had lost, then starts yelling down the street, by this time my daughter had emerged out of the shop, gave me a strange look and walked off... I actually mentioned to my daughter 'arn't u glad you haven't got a mom like that!' Yup there is no wonder why children are growing up how they are these days when they are subjected to this kind of language at such a young age!

It is a shame that there are so many people in the world with love to give a child while the gift of having a child goes to so many horrible parents.
Sad & sickening, actually.

Yes, I see this often in stores. It makes me sad for the child, I wish I could take them all home with me. Poor child. I hope that someone screams at her the way she screams at her child.

Oh my that's sad. I have seem some like that and it makes me sick in the stomache and wanted to say something to this person. I would think that's why kids are like that when they get older as they learn from their parents. I would never do that to my daughter.

Wolfie I have seen it very often and that is why I have been saying that the reason Kids are the way they are today is the way Parents treat them
And believe me it will get worse there is no doubt on that
It hurts me every time I see it and all I want to do is cuddle the Child and show it what Love is but of course I can't
