I am not a big fan of peanut butter but as a kid I remember eating it right out of the jar, but not the whole thing. I have eaten a whole can of chocolate frosting before. Did you know if you mix a jar of peanut butter and a can of vanilla frosting and melt them together on the stove, then chill for awhile, you will have some very good fudge. I used the chocolate of course.lol.

Your welcome. Just be forewarned...its very sweet but oh so good. And don't let it get too hot on the stove, just melt it together enough so it is mixed. I hope you like it.

Thanks for the tips! lol I was going to make it today, but I had no frosting in the pantry, and I didn't want to brave the cold! I have to go out tomorrow, so it's on my shopping list, I'll let you know what I think ;)

Oh yes, peanut butter can be so tasty. I don't usually do this but I do remember pigging on and just slurping down the peanut butter on its own. It tastes really good. :D

wow! i wonder how many calories have gone down your blood stream. i can only imagine the oil that you ate. peanut butter is ok for me when eaten in moderate amounts. a whole jar is too much. please do not do it again LOL. my weakness with peanut butter though is eating it with a banana.

Lol This is a common event in my house!! My 3 year old son and I will quite often sit down with a jar of peanut butter and a couple of spoons...lol My husband really dislikes peanut butter, and thinks it's a truly disgusting habit, but I love it! lol Another good one is to get some chocolate buttons, and dip them in the peanut butter, like chip& dip. Lol

Lol, yes but not the whole jar.... :) I love peanut butter! I usually get on kicks, a little peanut butter on a banana, spoonful of peanut butter with a Hershey's kiss, peanut butter and honey sandwich....good stuff :) I read awhile back, there's actually a peanut butter diet. When you're hungry, eat a spoonful of peanut butter. It's pretty filling actually, has a lot of protein, has some fat but the "real" peanut butter is much healthier for you. My Pepe La Peu and my dogs absolutely love peanut butter too lol.

When I have a lack of inspiration, I have been known to have a spoonful or two of peanut butter. In fact there is a diet based on getting two spoonsful of peanut butter daily. It was published by the people at Rodale Press, the parent company of Prevention magazine. I have never eaten a whole jar of peanut butter. I am trying to imagine this. How large was the jar? I get an 18 oz. jar for around a dollar. Usually on sale. Your body may be needing more protein, or more healthy fats or both. It is hard to have an appetite for protein foods when you have such hot weather. When I had some health screenings this year it was suggested to me that a small protein snack at bedtime would give me more energy the next day, and help combat pre diabetes. I am hoping this does not happen to you too often. Take care friend.

I should have said, the nurse said the snack she usually chooses is a big spoonful of peanut butter. I forgot.

I do like to eat peanut butter out of the jar. And I like to put it on a lot of things. But I have never eaten a whole jar or even come close. You can surely say you are nuts..especially after eating that much peanut butter...lol. I can't remember starting to eat something and then going overboard and eating the whole thing. I think I would feel too guilty...lol.

Not the whole thing. For a long time I bought creamy peanut butter because my husband couldn't eat the crunchy kind with his bad teeth. One day I decided to get some crunchy just for me. I did eat about 1/4 of the jar that night! I seldom binge eat on anything, but will take second helpings of things I like!

Yes, you are nuts...LOL..just kidding...Oh, don't get me going on peanut butter..I could sit and eat a whole jar myself...and pay for it later with a lovely bout of gastritis..--but I sometimes do that with ice cream..to the dismay of my waist...

Wow, that is a whole lot of calories! The only thing I can recall eating the entire thing was a sleeve of Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies or Oreos. Love them with milk!
