Art?

How many have seen the artwork of an apple sitting on a table in a painting? Well today one of my apples fell from its perch so I brought it inside for the heck of it. As I set it on the table I said, "This should make a decent picture." Well I love the soothing glow from the marroon drapes in the dining room. I even caught the reflection of it on the table as well as some dust. HAHAHA! What do you think? Is it artsy fartsy? Hahahaha! Thanks in advance also for all comments etc.

As a matter of fact I do have grapes. I've a discussion about them in my page somewhere. They aren't ripe yet though. I do have 4 bunches on the vine though. Hee hee!

Dust??? You want to see dust, then come to my house.lol. As for the picture, I think its a beautiful apple. I love how the reflection shows on the table. And yes, those drapes just make it complete. Good job.

Thanks a bunch. The whole photo is actually made by the glow from the curtains I think. You'd better get the Pledge and start dusting.

Excellent representation of hue saturation, contrast, color balance and creative expression in this still picture captured so skillfully . . .
my stills are of a tree-hugging nature:

That really is a beautiful shot--the color of the drapes in the background give the whole mood a nice warm feeling to it...yes it is "art"---uh, did you eat the apple afterwards? LOL

It's a very small apple actually having fallen from the tree due to the water sprinkler hitting it I think. So it's still on the table.

Really great photo!! If I had an apple motif in my kitchen, I'd be sure to want a photo like this one. It's like a modern version of all the apple pictures you see out there. I prefer contemporary decor to the so-called "country" decor, so I don't do apples... but this photo, with the shiny drapes in the background and the green of the apple along with its reflection make it a contemporary piece. If you'd like to sell this piece, http://www.lulu.com is a great place to do that. It's free. (I would certainly buy it!) Great Job!
Thanks for sharing!

Artsy fartsy... hmmmm. I do think it is simplistic. A lot of photos overdo things. I like it because the drapes and the reflection give it a natural, simple beauty to it. I see you are very handy with a camera. I am taking a vacation shortly and want awesome pictures.. so you want to come with me and take them? LOL

I think you are just an old artsy fartsy. LOL I did like the photo it was a good display of the glair of light from the curtain and the table. I guess that is what I am trying to say. I am so tired.

You are the picture man, alright. It is very nice. You are a natural photographer. Can you believe something as simple as an apple can look so good? Keep up the good work and you will be an artist in no time..
