Does the country or area where you live experience the fall season? |
|
It's only September and here in Boston the leaves on the trees are already beginning to change color! I was amazed this morning when I noticed it. The mornings are getting a lot cooler now and I love it. It won't be long and I can take the AC out of the window and put the fan away. The worst part of all this is that now the winter clothes have to start coming out of the basement and the summer go into boxes and everything just get switched. A job I hate. I loved living in San Diego because I never had to do that but I did miss the changing season there. Do you live where the seasons change? Do you get to see the leaves changing color on the trees? I think that's one of the best parts of it.

I hope this year is a good year for color, we have had a fairly good year for rain, and I saw colors in Gettysburg in Mid July! And they were a rich vibrant red.... I will be going back this week or next week to see the color, and hopefully have some stunning pictures I can share. Mooch

2. OreoCookie3 (13266) | 1 year ago | I live in Georgia, and we have a nice fall season that lasts well into everyone else's winter. In December I am usually still only wearing sweaters in the day time and then it gets cold at night. By January it is getting really cold here some days. We get ice, but it is rare that we get snow.. unless it is in the mountainous areas.

3. whywiki (2750) | 1 year ago | I live on the west coast of Canada and we have all 4 seasons unlike parts of Canada where it is always summer or winter. I love Fall and spring the best. I love to watch nature at it's grandest glory.

4. sunshinecup (5960) | 1 year ago | Oh man does it!! I live in Kentucky, the rolling hills are just breath taking in the fall, let me tell ya. We always plan a weekend road trip in October for my birthday, to go travel the state to take in the fall beauty. I love it cause it is so darn amazing to see the hills go on and on with so many bright gorgeous colors blending in with each other against a blue clear sky. It give me goose bumps just thinking about it. I am already starting to get excited with the thoughts of Fall coming. Spring and Fall both are my favorite times of the year.

6. worldwise1 (4949) | 1 year ago | Yes, ctry, we do experience the changing of the seasons in this part of the country. It is still a little early for us, though, since we are still having temperatures in the 90s. We are expected to reach 95* tomorrow. I can hardly wait for the cool weather to come to our area.

ctrymuziklvr (4473) | 1 year ago | This is what I don't like about this time of the year. We could have days that are in the 90's but the mornings will start out very cold and then all of a sudden we're freezing. MA weather...wait a minute and it will change...ha ha ha!

8. dragonryder (3574) | 1 year ago | Yes I live in an area where the season change. I'm in Illinois. I don't think the leaves are changing yet. We are still having a hot spell. The leaves don't typically start changing until late September here. It is getting a bit cooler at night though, and getting dark sooner. We are fortunate to have big enough closets that we can keep our warm and cold weather clothes all in a closet. It sounds interesting to live somewhere that the temperature doesn't vary that much.

9. webeishere (9404) | 1 year ago | Well here in Minnesota we had a very hot and humid July and a lot of the trees had changed colors very very early. I drive up to the North Shore past Duluth near the Canadian border to view some magnificent colors during early September. I won't be making that trip this year as I've too much to do. But that area is great as its a 2 lane highway all the way to the Border lined with acres and acres of wooded forest land. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~
