The Jena 6 Crap Was Just Another Incompetent Press Inspired Hoax!

Yes, events did occur there, there was a tree, a Black kid did ask persmission to sit under it.. then did, there were nooses hung from it, and 6 kids did beat up one in the lunch room... but! Consider: Lie #1 by the incompetent Press and Jackson/Sharpton Inc. "_The so-called "white tree" at Jena High, often reported to be the domain of only white students, was nothing of the sort, according to teachers and school administrators; students of all races, they say, congregated under it at one time or another." ~If the nooses were so "offensive" why were the kids "Black and White" playing with them! "_Two nooses _ not three _ were found dangling from the tree. Beyond being offensive to blacks, the nooses were cut down because black and white students "were playing with them, pulling on them, jump-swinging from them, and putting their heads through them," according to a black teacher who witnessed the scene. ~One indicent had nothing to do with the other, so why did the incompetent press and Jackson/Sharpton Inc. feel the need to make up a connection? _There was no connection between the September noose incident and December attack, according to Donald Washington, an attorney for the U.S. Justice Department in western Louisiana, who investigated claims that these events might be race-related hate crimes. ~Pretty rough punishment for doing something that offended NO ONE until the incompetent press and Jackson/Sharpton told the world to be offended! _The three youths accused of hanging the nooses were not suspended for just three days _ they were isolated at an alternative school for about a month, and then given an in-school suspension for two weeks. ~Black people were called for jury duty, but chose not to bother. _The six-member jury that convicted Bell was, indeed, all white. However, only one in 10 people in LaSalle Parish is African American, and though black residents were selected randomly by computer and summoned for jury selection, none showed up. So folks, what we have here is a few unrelated incidents that shouldn't have made it passed the blotter report in the local paper. When are we going to learn that the incompetent press can't and won't do their jobs? It's time we simply ignored them and let them go the way of the blacksmith and town crier. http://www.foxnews.com/wires/2007Sep22/0,4670,APlaceCalledJena,00.html

I hope people who sent the Jena 6 money for their defense fund see your post. Someday, maybe, people will learn to not be lead so easily astray by those who first seek to make you angry. Thanks, for posting the good information.

The press and Jackson/Sharpton Inc should be required to return all the money collected for their lies.

That is a very interesting take on the situation. The media does have the tendency to blow things up out of proportion and even intensify the situation just to get ratings. Of course people like Al Sharpton also jump into these issues when they find it a chance to get their face in the public view again. Where was Al Sharpton when 9/11 by the way? He only seems to come out when a racially charged incident occurs that will benefit whatever goals he has for himself.

Haha racist planes. So despite our disagreeing in another discussion, I have to hand it to you in this one, well done. Al Sharpton perpetuates racism.

Just another example of our liberal media jumping on a story and making it bigger than it was and blowing it out of proportion just to sell news! And look how long it took for the truth to come out!

Someone did get hurt no matter how bad the press makes it. I think the problem is that we take this sort of thing too much to heart before waiting for the true story. There is always more to it since the press always gets there before all the facts are out and they write about what they see.

The problem is, they don't write what they see. They knew they were lying through their rancid teeth... but as usual, they don't care.

WoW I live in Jena and I have said all along quite a few things. One the media blew alot of this sooooooooo far out of proportion. On the other hand our lovely DA did go overboard to begin with by pressing the attempted murder charges. Another I have asked is that if Six white boys had beaten one black boy and they had been charged with attempted murder if anyone would have stood up and said that was too much, and the charges be reduced to aggravated battery. I don't see how this town I LOVE TO CALL HOME, can win, because if the situation had been revered, we would still be labeled racist. There were many facts never released in this case. The media chose to take it and run in the wrong direction with it. They never did report that when Michael Bell was arrested, he wasn't even living with this mother, but that he was actually living with a PROMINENT WHITE FAMILY at the time. They didn't let that little cat out of the bag, because that would have taken away the sensationlism of the whole darn mess. WHEN ALL IS SAID AND DONE JENA IS STILL A GREAT PLACE TO CALL HOME!

Always great to hear about things first hand. You are right, the second the incompetent press and Jackson/Sharpton Inc got their maggot infected faces into it, Jena couldn't win... but then again, niether could truth or facts.

Jena is a sad story. 1. Al Sharpton and his co-hort and bigoted friend Jessie Jackson came down there and made a mountain out of an anthill. 2. There were a lot of facts that didn't add up. I'd hear that X said this on FOX news and then I'd hear that Y said this on CNN and neither of the information pieces given, jived. It's all a matter of what sells. This type of story sells. But you have to ask yourself: Had this have been 6 white kids beating up on a black kid, would the media attention been the same, or worse?

If it were 6 White kids beating a Black kid the press coverage would have been the same. A pack of lies. The members of the press are too incompetent to tell the truth.
