For ones who don't know The Brat pack was the name of a group of young actors and actresses in the 80's. They are Emilio Estevez,Anthony Michael Hall,Rob Lowe, Andrew McCarthy, Demi Moore, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald, And Ally Sheedy.I guess I have a tie. I had the biggest crush on Andrew McCarthy but I saw more of Rob Lowe's work.

I was in love with Rob Lowe (He was hot back then!) but he wasn't the best actor of the gang. I think Judd Nelson probably was the best but I also like Andrew McCarthy.
Final answer...Rob Lowe was my favorite but I think Judd Nelson probably was the most talented of the group.
That was actually TOUGH for me to answer. lol.

I remember seeing just about all of them in that movie St. Elmo's Fire...For me I'm a great fan of Emilio Estevez--actually love the whole Sheen family of actors, including "dad"--but of all of them I think Demi Moore is the most "intense" actress even in her lighter movies--just love her...and she does have a diversity of roles...like in Ghost, to the Charlie's Angels movies

Well, I didn't care about him when he was a Brat Pack actor, but later on, I really began to appreciate Rob Lowe. I think he's very talented and has become less underrated lately. But, back in the 80's, to me the only Brat Pack movie I watched was The Breakfast Club, which he wasn't in.

I liked Molly Ringwald; she had very distinctive looks, and is a fine actress.

Would you believe I was just thinking of starting a discussion on the Brat Pack with a slightly different take on it. I was already over thirty when these stars first became so popular but my daughter was crazy over some of them, especially Rob Lowe. I remember saying then he was a "cute kid" but some years later, after the brat pack had disbanded I came to appreciate him more. It's probably surprising to some people how well a few of these actors have done in later years. Picking a favorite isn't easy but I currently watch Anthony Michael Hall and Robe Lowe on their respective TV shows and think they've gotten so much better with age! Demi Moore is amazing, she looks the same now as she did when she was in About Last Night.

I haven't seen Anthony or Rob's new shows. When I started this post I was thinking of their work in the 80's.

Rob Lowe, Molly Ringwald, Demi Moore and Ally Sheedy.
Not necessarily in that order.
I can't remember who Anthony Michael Hall is. The name is familiar but I can't place him. Was he the kid in Sixteen Candles??
I don't know who Andrew McCarthy is either.

I think I would have to pick Molly Ringwald. My cousin used to have such a crush on Rob Lowe it was crazy.

When she was younger I was a real Demi Moore fan but I also liked Molly Ringwald. As for the guys I've always had a thing for Andrew McCarthy. St. Elmo's Fire has always been one of my favorite Brat Pack movies.
