Ropbert Novak wrote in his colum that the Clinton campaing had some dirt on Obama but were not going to use it. This came from a high Clinton Staffer. http://www.suntimes.com/news/novak/655729,CST-EDT-novak18.article What the Clinton Camp appears to have done is to make the accusation that Obama has dones something very wrong but they are not going to be the ones to tell you. Any one who has ever delt with such thing knows that the accusation is all that is needed. the pro Clinton or Anti Obama blogs will be going wild with speculation and this will cause many to look into Obamas background and try to fing the big stroy.
I knew a fellow who was a teacher and someone made the accusation that he had done something imporper with a female student. After his hearing where he was found not guilty of any wrong doing he was not able to get a job teaching. The feeling of many people was that they just did not have enough evidance to prove the charges, but you know he did it.
This is what the Clinton Camp has done and by saying they will not use it makes them look honorable whild the damage has been done. We all know now that Obama has some dirty secret he is hiding. Obama looks bad and the Clintons are seen as good.

This is beautiful! The accusation has been made that the Clinton camp put this out there but refused to use it to make themselves look good. Of course, even if there's no evidence pointing to Clinton, denying it won't do her any good because they can't prove they DIDN'T start this invisible mud-slinging. Get Clinton and Obama with one swipe...sounds like a Karl Rove trick to me. Swiftboat ride anyone?

The thing is about that Swiftboat thing.. everything they said about Kerry was true...
We'll see if the same can be said for this.

I agree the Clinton's are low enough to pull the kind of underhanded dirty stunt you are suggesting.
Who is to say Obama really even did anything bad? I will not be voting for Obama, but even still I am against using innuendo and gossip to defeat a candidate.
I will not vote either for a candidate who uses these tools against their opponent.

How does anyone know the Clinton camp was involved in this at all? From everything I've seen and read on this subject nobody has confirmed any of what Novak has said, which is nothing new from him! There has been some speculation that it was actually a Republican that started this story; how surprising is that...lol!

Could be true, but we'll see how it plays out.
So far though, Hillary has stuck to her playbook, so it wouldn't suprise me.
