We are having spinach pasta stuffed with ricotta cheese. Topped with Alfredo sauce. Mixed veggies were the pick for the veggie of the evening. What about you?

We had chicken bre@st sprinkled with paprika and then baked in the oven, green beans, and tomato and Parmesan cheese penne pasta. The kids also had a few leftover fish sticks.

Tonight, I had leftover chicken vegetable soup (homemade) and a salad. It was quite yummy.

I am feeling of eating a grill chicken wing and the gravy. I think I will have it with a plain rice. I already have asked my spouse to get it for me. Also an ice cream as it's been so many days that I wanted to have it. I think my spouse will take his chicken burger.

Since my husband works weird hours we hardly sit down as a family but for dinner last night I made a meat loaf using onion soup mix with 2 pounds of ground beef. It was all eaten up by tonight. Wow, we sat down as a family and everyone loved their meal and my husband finsihed the left overs. Puts a smile on my face. :)

We had curried rice, pork chops with onions, and green beans. We also finished off the apple pie we bought for New Years day. I was going to pick up some mixed vegetables at Superstore, but we opted for corn instead. I had some salad in the fridge, but forgot to take it out. That spinach pasta sounds good. Did you make it yourself, or did you buy it? Oh and what are you having for dessert or are you having any? Curious minds want to know.

Hello tonight we had chicken sandwhiches with velveeta shells and cheese. I had to work tonight at 5 so was able to make anything extravagant. I hope to make something nice tommorow night.

That sounds good. I just finished making pad thai noodles and chicken. It was my second time trying it, I broke down and bought the pad-thai sauce pre-made this time. Much easier, although I did add a little extra peanut sauce because I like the flavor. It came out quite good, I think it will make it onto our regular menu rotation.

I like the response of go to the store and grab something. Of course, I like to assemble or cook more than some. In particular, I look for meals that my daughter -- or any child that happens to be in my house that evening -- could participate in preparing. Sometimes, the pride of a child putting together a meal is more important than how much I feel like eating that at the moment. I, myself, have recently had a child over to prepare pasta, toast with garlic salt, and microwaved veggies. The interest was in a healthy seeming meal which a child could prepare. I want this kid to know how to prepare healthy meals when he gets out on his own.
