I'm considering going away for a short break |
|
I don't really know but recently I've had this feeling inside that I should go away for a week or weekend. I'm not sure why though, I do think it has something to do with the issues thats been floating around and the fact that people seem to playing games again. I can't decide though, as I've spoken to my wife about it. There's two places I've been considering one in which my family always go during the summer and another I went to visit on day trips. Personally i'd like a change and instead go to the other place, although my wife and son haven't been there and it's also more expensive. Well, how do you decide where to go? have you ever allowed things to get on top of you that a break does good? I don't want to go away and end up not enjoying it because the issues don't go away, that's partly why I'm considering the idea. ~Joey

Great idea. I have my beloved retreat to go to and look forward to, my next planned break is 7th February which won't be long now! It gives me something to look forward to now Christmas is over, we need something to look forward to! Good on you my friend, keep us updated as always!

At the moment she's between the idea, i'm more leaning to go but she dislikes leaving the house since don't truly know people likes around here. we're forming ideas but still, i think if she does it'll probably be a weekened. Still i am looking forward to it if it does go ahead, ~Joey Thanks!

4. sigma77 (4293) | 11 months ago | Do what you feel inside. This is your real self talking to you. Get the heck out of Dodge and go have some fun. Re-create your spiritual being and enjoy some tinglely times. Issues can always be faced and are better acted upon with a fresh mind. You don't need a reason to go enjoy yourself. All you need to do is give yourself permission to go somewhere. Happy travels, Joey and family!

6. arkaf61 (4835) | 11 months ago | But Joey, even if the issues don't go away, a small break is still beneficial. It's usually relaxing and a time that is pleasant for us. SOmetimes I feel the same. WE actually used to take away for a weekend of a mini week every once in a while. It felt so good and even if the problems were still back when the time was over, I had a much better disposition to deal with them:)

8. milkfish (305) | 11 months ago | Hi joey! I know how you feel. Sometimes we need to go away for a break. It will give us time to relax and think (meditate) about things that are happening in our lives. A relaxed mind and body is all you need, away from the pressures and the the realities of your daily life. You will come back with a reenergized spirit and surely you will look at things at different perspective. Go and explore unfamiliar places to take your mind off from the issues. Enjoy new sights and the company of your family.

9. Sissygrl (4548) | 11 months ago | When i go away I like to go to the same place everytime! i like to go visit my mom! she lives about 2000 miles away so its a costly trip to fly there, but its where i grew up so its always a fun trip and relaxing vacation as long as i dont spend to much time with the mother in law who also lives There. lol. That's never fun. RUSH RUSH RUSH, and she' has the time i say i'm going to spend there planned to the minute 6 months in advance. it's F'ing rotten! But she tell people i fly by the seat of my pants. LOL cause i dont plan everything 6 months in advance and to the minute. HEll when we were coming down a few xmas's ago, she had my hubby's son's cot set up in her room 4 months before we got there. NICE EH?!
