As some of you know, I have a musicbox on my profile. My brother did my profile and put it on there for me. He warned me not to mess with anything b/c he didn't want to have to go back and fix it. Well, he hasn't been online since December b/c of pc problems and today when I checked my profile I saw that only 3 out of my 8 songs were playing. So, I decided to try to fix it. Well, I ended up having to take the whole player off, make a new one, put alot of the songs I like on it and then re-load it to my profile. It took me all day...looking up songs, figuring out codes and it finally works. I am so proud of myself. I love it when something works out and I don't have to hit the panic button. So now I officially have my musicbox back up with almost 50 songs on it. Some are patriotic, some are ones that have special meaning to me, some are just fun ones and some are just easy listening. So, check it out if you like and see what a good job I did LOL Do you feel good when you set out to do something and it turns out good in the end? I know I do. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

I didn't realize that that was a jukebox. I thought it was just music playing on your profile. You did a really good job. I would love to put something like that on my profile. I do feel good when I can fix something for myself, but I usually rely on my husband and grown kids to help me. I'll have to try and find the time soon to make my profile the way I want to.

Hey, if they aren't able to help you I can!! I love this sort of stuff, and it's really easy too because most of the time the site gives the code for you to put on your profile...but getting there is the tricky part...lol!

Hey t68, That's cool-you should be proud of yourself-I remember when I made my first web page using html by myself. It's probably simple to others but it made me feel pretty smart LOL +'s |:)

It always feels good when you manage to do something like that for yourself. Shows those who think you are no good at it that you are. And has your brother managed to fix his computer yet?

He's decided to order a new one and is supposed to be doing that this weekend. I think he is having serious gaming withdrawls as it's been about 2 months since he's been on his Everquest game. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

LOL I'll definately do it as soon as I learn enough to figure out how. Other than my musicbox and changing my avatar...my Brother does it for me. I tried figuring it out when I first started on here and almost made myself insane. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Thats great! I am limited as to what i can do on the computer,so i would be very proud of myself if i would have been able to do what you did..I know a lot more than i use to know but you really have to experience a lot of things and go though a lot to learn the computer and all the things that you can do..I really feel like it is because there are changes made almost daily..By the time we learn something and get it all down on how to do it,they will change the whole thing and you have to start over..So many new things..This atest this id vista, and now i am having to get use to that..My daughter gave me a laptop for christmas and i love it but it is that new vista and i am trying to learn that now..Its o different from my desk top...

Oh I just love that song, "God Bless The USA." I watched the video once of the guy doing the painting and I was in tears. I know the most famous question on here as got to be, How did you do the musicbox? So, I will not ask you to explain, I will look at the other responses to find out. That is really cool.

Congratulations on figuring out how to put a new musicbox on your profile. Yes, I too, jump up and down with joy when I can figure out how to do something myself to, even if it takes awhile. I really don't have any friends who are computer geeks near me...in fact, they are always asking ME for computer advice...LOL. The big problem is sometime I have to remember HOW to do things on a PC computer when I'm helping them out...I have a Mac which is a different breed of computer altogether. My most recent accomplishment was when I figured a way to scan my black and white negatives and make positive images of them...now that was a real plus for me.

It does feel good when you can accomplish a task such as you did. Computer task usually take awhile to grasp, and then when you finally figure it out, it is like "how did I do that?" Time will get away from you before you know it whenever it is computer issues. You do have a nice layout for MyLot! I've not gotten creative here.

Good for you, I don't know if I would try to fix that, I would probably mess it up. I haven't had a computer that long and I am still learning. Yes I do feel good when I tackle a project and it comes out good. I do like your profile, very nice. I just have the standard mylot kind.

Well done my friend, that is a great personal achievement and yes you should be proud of yourself! So pretty soon you'll be an html and javascript expert! I was really proud of myself when I used to live in my old home, the washing machine started to leak and it was starting to cause problems to the flooring, it was rented accommodation, my ex was about as much use as a chocolate teapot and was getting hyped up and dancing around like a child about it, saying we'll have to get someone in, and as you know plumbers are sooo expensive, I got so incensed with my ex that one day when I was on my own I pulled the washing machine out and saw what the problem was and I cleaned everything out, took out the taps and gave them a big clean and screwed them back in and hey presto not one single droplet of water was escaping, problem fixed and the washing machine was working again! Saved me a fortune. Not that I got much praise from my ex for saving him money and getting hysterial! But I was right pleased with myself!
