What would you like to know about myLot?

I was wondering something my girlfriend had an account with mylot and she chose to close her account and everyone of her discussions is still there and she was wondering if she can have her account back. She wrote to mylot a couple of times but she has not got an answer back about it.

Hi Crash! I'm a new user of Mylot! I find out that Mylot is quite different from other similar websites coz it'll ask us to select our interests. Later, the information that is relevant to our interests will pass to us.Then it'll bring two problems. The first is that some really useful information but is not about our interests can't be available to the users . The second is that Mylot provides a good stage for us to communicate, but its main culture is not clear. How could you solve these problems? Thank you!

I would like to know about the perceive value of Mylot which you have mention on one of your replies.

How does this work?

How can I earn more here on Mylot?
Is it true that the higher your rating the more higher your earnings?

As such i like the way mylot is working but i would like see few things changed here for the better.

1) Please fix the earnings statistics page, i still dont understand the total of the "referrals" column and "Total" Column

2) Please give us the option to disable the tagging option for private messages.

3)Now this is really important! isn't there any way to make mylot run faster? Mylot runs slow in firefox, and almost impossible to run it with IE! Many of the people whom i referred to this site stopped using this because of this slowness issue.
Is it a deliberate attempt to make the site run slow?

4) Please supply us with referral banners so that we could use it in our sites/blogs.

5) Why cant you introduce a public scrapbook for every user so that we could send him/her public messages, i think that would double mylot's attraction as a social networking website.

6) Currently there is no option to search for our friends in mylot, if we have to find one we have to check each and every page of our friends page.

7)When a message is deleted pls send a message denoting the reason why it is deleted.

Apart from this i would like to know few things about mylot..

1) What is the average amount of money that mylot sends its members on a monthly basis?

2) How long can we expect mylot to be in business?

3)what are all the new features members can expect in the future from mylot?

4) What percentage of its total population are actually active here on mylot?

please don't consider that as my question because my question is, do we get anything, or is there any benefits or advantages from going back on a certain discussion and keep on commenting to the comments on my response? for example, there's this discussion I responded to and its host commented on my response, and then I commented, and then she commented again, and so on and so forth, like we are discussing forever. do I get anything from it?

Thanks to the MyLot Administration for this long awaited dialogue.

I’ll spare the reader my long list of accolades for this community, and its foundation. I’ve been here for 16 months. So, clearly I see a great many reasons to continue to participate here.

As I’ve read through the questions presented by the members, I see that others have asked some of the more pressing questions regarding the conscious veil of secrecy for the MyLot business model, the absence of the ability to redress grievances, and the absence of communication from the MyLot staff. I will anxiously await your sincere effort to address those issues, and finally share with the membership that information which can help them to be more successful contributors to this community.

While you address those very pressing issues, perhaps you might also consider another question, of much lighter magnitude. I recently posted a question about whether or not the members have the ability to directly donate their earnings to a charity of their choice. Specifically, if a member’s favorite charity will accept donations via Paypal, can we the members, submit that charity’s PayPal account number into the members payment information, so that the charity will receive a direct donation?

To further clarify, I do not wish to receive payment into my Paypal account, then transfer it to another Paypal account. I wish to avoid any links between separate organizations, so as to protect my personal information in an always ‘hackable’ internet environment.

So, is this acceptable to the MyLot administration?

Dear Crash and Mylot,

I've been through 3 pages of questions and I have not seen this addressed as of yet, and while sort of has been issued around it, I want to talk about the break down of communication between mylot and the members ie system maintenance, responding to inquiries, problems with mylot......the list goes on.

So many times, and I know you are flooded with emails, that we try to get in touch with admin, and our emails and concerns go unanswered......and very few of us have a chance to ask our questions.

I have a question for admin that I haven't addressed simply because I feel it a why waste the time type thing.....

If I were to send Mylot a question about my fears of them stopping using PayPal, would I get an answer? this is the breakdown in communication I am talking about, I've emailed mylot numerous times in the 9 months I've been here with various problems, questions and concerns, but no one takes the time or has the time to respond....

PS I think it would be beneficial for mylot to have a specific question area for where the staff can come and address concerns and questions for them and major announcements, or to be able to put in more alerts, like when there is a change of TOS, or maintenance, or a sudden system problem, it would solve everyone trying to flood you with emails....

Some place where staff could come when htey had a few spare minutes to go to answer our questions, new questions stuff like this.

Welcome, Crash! You are the best decision myLot has made! I have read through all the questions, and the responses you have made so far. Now I've forgotten where I left off where YOU left off. I will have to come in and check your responses frequently. It would be nice to be able to know when responses are made to discussions we responded to, but I'm guessing that would be too much of a chore, if not impossible.

My question is, however, that I have seen so many people complaining that a certain someone has gotten mad at them and gone and rated them negatively. This puzzles me. How is it possible for someone to know if and when they are rated positively and negatively, and who does it? I think anonymity is of utmost importance in the rating system because a stampede could occur. So my question is, CAN someone know who and when they are rated? Thanks.
