No. Repeated violations of the community guidelines is what gets you into serious trouble.

What if there arent any violations at all?
Why are there GOOD users being banned and the ones that persistantly violate guidelines, get banned and come back time and time again still reeking havoc on the good users here?

Hmm, does the blog currently contain original content? Is it established? Is it tightly focused towards one category? Is it a personal blog, or something that the world would enjoy reading, not just your friends?

Those would be the first questions I'd ask myself.

I can tell you this. Reinstatements do occur. But we need to feel confident that the community guidelines violations will not occur again. Accepting responsibility also goes a long way.

I'm pretty sure if you bring her back, you will not see any violations from her (unless they are in someoen's imagination who then files a bad report). You will also see a lot LESS of her avatar as we will all revert to our own avatars. There's also be a lot less "temporary discussions" popping up asking you to give us back our friend. There would probably be more "We Love MyLot" discussions and "Crash is great" discussions though.

Because there are a lot of topics to choose from.=D And its fun seeing people with the same interests with different opinions. . .well given that it doesn't start a flame war lol.^^ I see the monetary incentives as a bonus to be more active in such a site. . .haha. Too bad I can't use any of the fund in my paypal yet even if I DID reach payout. . .I'd need to verify it with a credit card or checking account first. .-sighs- Or wait till my account is 2 months old so I can apply for a paypal debit card. .I'm so impatient lol.

I think the myLot members can best answer this, but to me, it seems like "the people". That's why members love myLot so much.

The more friends you bring here, the more of a difference we can make.

Help people out! Construct well-thought-out responses to user discussions. That's the best advice I can give.

I wouldn't ever expect to see me in the role of dispute management. Personally, I hate to referee! I know we need them in life (and on myLot), but it's not something I have the desire to be a part of.

That being said, we have some people here at myLot that I feel are very good at being fair and tough. They handle the disputes. For obvious reasons, we keep this information off of the public area. We feel that those discussions contribute negatively to the overall experience of myLot.

For this reason, I doubt you will ever see a myLot administrator floating around the discussions refereeing disputes. I've never really considered us a "forum" anyway, although I can see why we're oftentimes lumped into that category. Forums can oftentimes be dominated by those with power. At myLot, we have all the power, and for that reason we feel it's best to stay out of your public discussions in most cases.

Our biggest problem is that our best dispute managers have a lot of other responsibilities and are strapped for time. This is something we're aware of and hope to improve upon in the future.

I haven't decided yet. I'd hate to set the expectation that I will be able to respond to everybody's messages. There's no way that could happen with me personally. I'm trying to think of a creative solution, but I don't have on yet.
