Your best source of referrals are friends and family. myLot members with blogs or websites have also been very successful with posting myLot referral links on their blog or website.

I see you're from India, so I doubt you've ever seen the U.S. movie "Bull Durham". In that movie, there's a character called Crash Davis, played by Kevin Costner. That character is the inspiration behind my chosen username. It has nothing to do with the verb "to crash".

Crash was a very positive and inspriration character in that movie. As a career minor league baseball player, he was an underdog. myLot is an underdog. I believe in the underdogs!

At the end of the day, Crash wasn't deemed successful by the typical measures of a baseball player's success. But he was indeed successful as measured by his positive influence on those around him. Sounds a lot like myLot, doesn't it!

Hello Niki. I am thinking that is correct, because I had the same issue. I also posted a question about it on this thread.

The deletion of interests doesn't make sense to me. I've never heard of that happening until now...

I can tell you that we have gone through and cleaned out extremely inactive accounts before. It's not something we love to do, but by adding up three cents here, 20 cents there, etc. for really old, inactive accounts that allows us to pool that money and increase payouts to our active members.

We're definitely glad to have you back! I'm not sure what our policy will be on this going forward, since we've only done this mass clean-up once.

The eBay ads are triggered by your interests. Unfortunately, we don't have any control over what pictures eBay sellers use in their ads. I'm not sure what a good solution would be here. There is a good chance that you could decrease the provacative ads by determining which interest is triggering those ads and removing it.

As a whole, these eBay ads are awesome and I've only seen rare occasions where there are bad photos displayed. That being said, if you're one of the few who gets shown those photos, I could see where it would be frustrating.

kris182_2000, it's probably because you have added 'make extra money' to your interests. I've seen several provocative advertisements thanks to that interest category, and the best thing that I've found seems to be simply ignoring them or refreshing the page.

There is a another question that just popped in my mind. When I leave the mylot site it logs me off. I don't log off due to the referral link. I have checked the link when I have sent it to a few friends of mine and unless I am logged in it doesn't show that I am the person sending the link to them. So if you could answer that for me that is all the questions I have.

Your first question has already been answered. For the login issue, have you tried this link?

Check the box that says "remember me?" If that doesn't work, there's probably a browser setting that you need to change allowing cookies the be accepted. I'm not aware of any bugs or issues currently with people staying logged in.

I tried the link you put here and left the site staying logged in and when I came back four hours later I had to log in again. I can't put my referral link anyplace because it does this.

also I did check the remember me box and when I went there again this time it was unchecked so I logged in again and checked the remember me box. That did not help. I still have to log in again when I am off it for a period of time.
