not counting online friends, because we all know it is easy to make friends that are of all different ages, but in your real life,
are your friends mostly the same age as you,
older of younger?
roughly speaking my friends are the same age because I still have a lot of them that I went to school with and that was a long time ago,
but I always had friends that were older as well, I get along well with older people, the man next door is as old as my mother and we are very good friends,
at one time I didn't have friends that much younger, but I do get along well with my son's friends and he is 31, now I don't know if you could call them friends in the true sense because they are his friends, and if he was not living with me would these people even call me, I don't know,
so I will say my friends are mostly my age and older.
how about you?

I really don't have friends right now but online friends. But when I did have friends they were of different ages some same as me,some older and some younger. I don't really judge to much on the age if I like them and they like me then that is all I cared about. Most the older ones have passed on,the ones the same age gone off to get married themselves that is when we slowly all drifted apart when we all got married and they got busy with their children, and the younger ones started noticing boys and getting involved so that left me with nobody but family and inlaws and I am not much friends with most of them.

I have friends of all ages, from twenty years old, right through to elderly people. I don't have any problems relating to anybody really, so I tend to make a lot of friends. The youngsters come and talk to me often... even invite me to go to night clubs with them. lol.
I love children too. I think they're wonderful little beings and they keep me young, so invariably, kids who've grown into adults remember me and wish to keep me as their friends. I find that quite flattering. They will come to me with their problems, ask me for advice or test my wisdom. I think it's important to have friends of all ages.
Brightest Blessings.

I have about three or four friends my age. But most of them are within a year or 5 older than me. I dunno why but people my age -that I know- (I'm 18) are really immature and I can't stand immaturity.. Atleast when it gets to the extent that they push it. So my friends are between 18 and 23-ish (I only have a couple friends around that age, and I barely hang out with them)

most of my friends are younger than me...i don't know why they want me to become their friend..i have lots of experience than they have so they are willing to hear my experiences during our conversation...we always get together in my house to do a party or watching movies..

My closest friends are either the age of my older sister, or the age my younger sister would be if she had lived. My brother and his wife are my good friends, does that count? They are younger than I.

my friends are mostly the same age as me, i met them in school, we are still friends to this time.. wow ten years of being friends really is something... i have my friends way back in highschool and we still keep in touch and talk when there are occasions. :)
but recently i am always seen with my office friends, who are same age as me too. :) our company is quite young in nature so i guess i can have more friends younger than me sooner... hehe

The so-called friends i had when I was younger, were mostly my age. As I got older my so-called friends were older than me. I could relate to the very well but they did not treat me any better than my younger friends. They all treat me badly so I don;t have any friends now other than my online ones.

my friends in real life are older than me... soome by a few years some by several years. one of my best friends is 30 years older than me. I do have good acquaintances that are younger than me, but they are not close close dear friends. I think the reason for the people I gravitate towards being older is due to my traditional convictions.

I have friends of all ages but the ones that are my true friends who have been in my life for years are around about my age give or take 5 years older, five years younger. The only person who I thought was a true friend who was much much younger let me down big time by running off with my husband and causing a lot of pain and hurt, she is not much older than my eldest daughter and of course no longer a friend! I get on really well with my daughters friends and yes they do contact me when girls aren't at home to say hi mum No.2 how u doing? but I wouldn't class them as friends but peple I know and get on well with, but more than aquaintances. Ellie :D

Most of my friends are older than me. I have always gotten along better with people that are older than me, even in High School. I hardly associated with anyone during my school years because they were to immature. I do have a few friends that are younger than me but that is because they are one of my friend's daughters. I've known them since they were 14 and 12 (12 yr old twins).
