Do you wear panti liners? If you do, what brand do you buy? If not, why not? I wear them faithfully every day and every minute of my life since I was about 18 years old. I've been wearing them for so long that I'd feel naked without them. Besides, I don't like the idea of staining my under pants because it's so hard to get out. And when having a yeast infection, the liner keeps the medicine from going onto my under pants. The brand I buy is called Light Days and I get the regular kind which is non deodorant because I'm alergic to the perfumes. So do you wear panti liners?

No I don't use them and I never have. I've never felt the need to use them and I don't see the point of them. It's easy enough to wash clothing after all. Not only are they environmentally unfriendly but I think it also encourages the notion that women are "unclean" in some way. What with feminine deoderants, feminine wipes, deoderised tampons, towels and liners - a whole industry has built up around the concept that women's genitalia are naturally dirty and need to be "dealt with" and camouflaged in various ways. It's nonsense, I wouldn't encourage them by buying their products.

I don't look at it that way. I just like clean and unstained under pants and wearing panti liners helps me do just that. Everyone has an opinion and I'm ok with that but I'm all for the panti liners because I like to be clean. And that's NOT to say you're dirty, not at all.

Do you realize that women spend all of their life except for a few years in grade school, in a *diaper* of one kind, thickness, size or another? Think about it. And men wonder why women are so *childish*! LOL

sparkofinsanity - you're completely nuts lol!! See I understand the idea of having clean underwear on if you're in an accident - I was brought up to believe that the shame of being hit by a bus with dirty underwear on would be too much to bear!! However, although you will have clean underwear on you will also have a pantie liner which might not be clean so isn't that really just as bad?? I'm not really expecting an answer by the way - I'm disturbing myself now with how much thought I'm giving to this lol.

As babies, we all wear diapers but when we get older we women have periods so yes we have to wear those darn stuffy things but not out of choice though. I like panti liners because it keeps my under pants from getting stained up and in the event if I were to get into an accident I would want to be in clean and non stained under pants.

I don't wear them, simply because I've been wearing Tena Lady for about 5 years now...morning, noon and night; 24/7 even. Not fun.

Never mind, I looked it up on the net. I can see how they wouldn't be fun. My mom has to wear them too and I'm heading that way as well thanks to being like her in so many ways phyically.

no I don't. pants can go in the washing machine, no big deal. I think I would find liners really uncomfortable. and I don't really like the idea. it makes it seem like we're being made out to be dirty somehow. the fact that scented one's exist is utterly repellant. blokes don't wear anything to stop their genitals touching their clothes, and they don't even wipe themselves when they wee. women are not dirty. pants can be washed. and when I've got my period I use a mooncup.

I agree with you on this :) Ok I have got to ask, what is a mooncup? I know pads and tampons but never heard that expression so now I'm curious.

a mooncup is a menstrual cup. they're re-usable, so no landfill waste, you sterilise them between periods. they're made of medical grade silicon, so are very hygienic, and don't harbour bacteria growth in the same way that fibrous tampons and pads do. the cup sits internally, and like a little egg cup, collects it. because it's not exposed to air, it doesn't go stale, so doesn't smell or go brown. about twice a day you take it out and tip the contents down the toilet. they're very clean, very comfortable, very eco friendly (no waste, they last about 10 years) and very economical (about £20, and as I said, they last the best part of a decade) I would never never go back to pads or tampons, now I'm used to it. it's so easy and clean. and if you're due you can put it in before it starts, rather than having to wait and risk accidents.

Well I know that I should but I just find them so uncomfortable! I have tried different brands but they seem to irritate me! I just make sure I have my knockers washed well! xxx

LOL gosh I'm laughing at your answer! Sweetie, have you ever tried kotex light days? I've used them for so many years that I don't think I could count that far. lol I've tried always too but I don't like the dry weave because it makes me feel damp. ugh! (look at the response below yours... ewwww!!)

Nope don't wear them. Never saw the need for it to be honest. Underwear washes and has to be washed whether you wear one or not so why waste the money on buying them. I've never had a big problem with staining my underwear on normal days. Nor have I had a problem with odor or anything like that. To me they just seemed like a way to try and get more money from women by making them feel there is something wrong with their anatomy that they need to shield their clothes from touching it.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that's all good. I like them because I don't have stains on my under pants so if I were to be in an accident, I'd have the cleanest under pants as possible. Maybe it's a crazy way of thinking but it's how I am.

You're the second one who says they wear Always. I can't wear them because of the dry weave which always makes me feel damp. I like kotex light days the best. BTW, I've been working on that darn star of yours!! lol

No, I almost never wear panty liners. I am fairly sure I will need to eventually, as my bladder has been weak ever since I was pregnant. I use tampons on the rare occassion that I get my periods (I am in menapause), & I rarely get infections. I have panty liners & thicker pads put aside just incase though. They are always handy to have around.

I love wearing them because it keeps my under pants from getting stained and I can change them as I need to and feel a little bit cleaner so to speak. My mom had to wear thicker pads due to her having a weak bladder but she's going to have it repaired again eventually thanks to an easier surgery which has an easier recovery.

No I do not wear those things. They bunch up and drive me insane. I would rather scrub my underwear until my hands are raw, than wear those little things. I have tried them and they are not my thing, no thank you, LOL.

LOL you're funny Rozie! You probably bought the wrong brand or an off name brand which will definetely bunch up on ya. Not many gals wear them so don't feel alone. I'm an odd ball anyway. lol

I can understand your concern but I'm not going without my panti liners because I like clean under pants and not having stains. If I were to be in some sort of accident, I'd hope I have clean under pants or I'd die of embarassement.

Yes, and they help greatly. I use Always brand panti liners. For me they are the best brand. Very comfortable and easy to use. I'd probably recommend this brand to most women. I, like you, have been wearing them since I was a teen.

Really? Awesome! I don't feel like an odd ball now!! I can't wear the Always brand because of the dry weave, it makes me feel damp all the time. My mom loves that brand though. Maybe I'm an odd ball in that respect. lol

Yes I wear panti liners. It is good to have them since I feel quite protected. The brand I use is Charmee Panti liners, they are soft and thick enough to last 6-8hrs of wearing it. I prefer non-scented- I am allergic too with the scented ones. =)

Gosh, seems a few of us do wear them and a lot don't which is fine because it is a case of to each his own. The ones I get are kotex light days and I love them. I have a box in all three of my bathrooms so to have them when I need them.
