Okay, how many of you are wearing, or will be wearing, green today? Is it because you don't want to be pinched? Is it because you are Irish, or have an Irish heritage? I'll be wearing green because it's my favorite color and I almost always have something on that has green in it. I also don't want to be pinched. And my dad claims we have an Irish bloodline - and he looks like a leprechaun.

Since I am not Irish I will not be wearing green. I really don't care if it's St. Patricks day with the exception of having the opportunity to maybe eat something that is green as all the restaurants are serving key lime pie or other desserts and dishes they don't make other times of the year.

All I had was a t-shirt that was green so I wore that with jeans etc. My mother bought my son a white sweatshirt and green sweatpants so thats what he wore. I cant remember what my daughter wore though. I am irish but how far back in the blood line it goes I have no idea. Its more of a tradition then anything else for me to wear green on St. Patricks day!

I'm not wearing green today, but I did suggest to my boys that they wear green to school today. Two of the three are doing that. I have a really cheesy pair of shamrock earrings, but decided not to wear them. Instead, I'm wearing my daily celtic jewelry (I'm of Irish heritage as well). My two favourite pieces are my claddagh ring and my celtic cross pendant... all sterling silver. I also have a small shamrock stud in my 3rd hole in my left ear, and on my black winter coat, a cheesy green shamrock pin. But all of those items I wear daily. I'm proud to be Irish every day of the year.

I'll be wearing green today even though nobody will see it. My grandmother's family had to drop the "O" from their name in order to get work here and on the other side of my family my grandpa was Irish, too. Nobody in my family looks like a leprechaun, though!

Well I have Irish heritage (I'm mostly Irish) so had to wear green but it's also my favorite color :) so it's easy to wear. I also don't want to get pinched even though I didn't leave the house. Of course we also had corned beef and cabbage for dinner. I like it and it's a good excuse to have it. Right now we are watching "Luck of the Irish" on Disney Channel. It's a very good movie, just wish it was out on DVD.

i am wearing a green shirt and green nail polish too. I am not sure if I have any Irish in my family. I wear green each St Patrick's Day to be Irish if only for one day.I could never be Catholic but I really could be Irish. So for one day, I get my wish.

We are mostly Irish and German. I wore a little bit of green today but that was only because it was in the shirt I wanted to wear. I didn't go out of my way to wear green. The only person that would pinch me would be my husband. He also knows that I have green 4-leaf clover tattooed on my right butt cheek so I am always wearing green.

just to be honest, i wasn't even aware that today was st. patty's day. my days all run together. i have three children ages 9,8 and 2 and my two oldest are on spring break and my youngest keeps me running from morning til night. since i stay at home i never know what is going on from one day to the next unless i look at my calendar, which apparently i forgot to do today. LOL! God bless

My family all wore their green. We ate our corned beef and cabbage. We had a game of cards. We wore our green because it's fun, tradition. When I was in school I got pinched. I think that is a mean tradition.

If I was at home in a bigger city, I might have remembered what day it was, and worn green, but down here in Sedona Arizona, one day is the same as the next They did have some green shamrocks and stuff, hanging at the coffee shop, though.

I'm wearing a Hawaiian shirt today, but it contains pictures of green trees, mountains and flower leaves. I think that's enough green to qualify. I'm one-quarter Irish, since my mom's side of the family is Scottish-Irish. My dad's side of the family is Italian. "Always after me Lucky Charms!"

I'm wearing green today even though I'm not Irish. It's just tradition. I'm feeling lucky -- maybe I'll get pinched even with my green
