I am sure the "what are you doing for Easter" discussion has already been around at least once. As we all have different friends and I want to let my friends know that I can't respond over the next 4 to 5 days,I thought it okay to have this discussion myself. We are going away for the whole Easter weekend. We will leave tomorrow night & will back sometime Monday afternoon. We are staying at Kapunda, a small historical town in the mid north. It takes about 2.5 hours to drive there. It is in the middle of a big wine growing district. There is golf, which I wont play but hubby will. And tennis, if my daughter can find someone to play with. All I want is peace & quiet & pretty surroundings. I can't wait. Have a great weekend for Easter everyone.

I hope you enjoy your peace and quiet, and have a wonderful time. Sounds like a nice vacation. My family will be spending easter at Grandma's house, as usual. I'll probably bring a ham and some potato salad.

Easter, it 's a foreign festvial for us Chinese, and it has not very popular like Chirstmas Festvial in China, we will treat it as a common festvial. so i will be on daily life for Easter

I understand that Easter would not be a common festival or celebration in China.

This year we will first start off Easter Sunday by going to church. Then afterwards we will be having a cook-out here with a few of our family members. The rain looks like it is going to hold off but its going to be a bit chilly. This will be the first time we'll be having an informal dinner. Usually we have baked ham and the whole nine yards. This year, hotdogs, hamburgers and grilled chicken. More relaxing, I think. Happy Easter to you too! Enjoy your weekend!

Well, i don't know yet if we will have a quiet stay at home or go to the mall to watch the easter program... so i guess we will have to decide sunday upon waking up... i hope you enjoy your stay at Kapunda... i surely want to go for a nice short vacation... but that in not an option for now... maybe next year when everything is okay financially... So enjoy and relax...

To be honest, I'm not sure what I'll be doing due to my husband's mother. I was thinking of going to see my parents with my husband but I'm not sure now. It just might me just me going or them coming here. Time will tell....

Still a bit chilly in March here in Minnesota USA for many outdoor activities on Easter. Myself, my wife, our son and dad are going to my daughters for easter. The grandsons will be at their dads so it's all adults this year. No idea as to wahst for dinner as my son-in-law is cooking and he has yet to reveal the menu. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

That sounds absolutely heavenly! You might already be gone as I'm typing this. I hope you have a good time. I'll be going to church Sunday morning as usual, but my mom spoiled me and bought me a new dress today, for me to wear Sunday morning. It's been a while since I've had something new to wear. Anyway, afterward she says she has a special dinner planned. So I'm going to enjoy the day, whatever may come.

That was very kind of your Mum to buy you a new dress for Easater Sunday. I haven't had anything new to wear for awhile either, but it doesn't worry me. We returned from our Easter holiday today & it was lovely.

I think that I'm going to go to church tomorrow. They are having a easter buffet breakfast before the service. Me and my son haven't been to church since January. I feel awful because we both liked the church, but we lost site of what was important. I also try not to take my son in crowds during the winter months because of his trach-- but now that it's spring (and easter) I think we might start going back again. Other than that, I guess we really don't have any easter plans Today is my birthday so I'm supposed to be gonig shopping with my best friend and then I guess out to dinner tonight.
