Hi there... I use this old little tea cup as my everyday cup. Out of all our cups, I choose to drink from this one old cup. If my partner made me a tea in another cup, I would happily tip it all into my little old tea cup haha...

For hot drinks I always use a mug, and for cold drinks like water, pepsi and squash I use a glass. I will have a cold bottle of water on my desk that's been in the fridge then there is no danger of knocking it over onto my keyboard!

I most prefer to drink out of a glass vessel - sometimes I will even drink out of a mason fruit jar. I like a nice heavy glass, although I like it plain. I also do not want anything to do with leaded crystal.
I like the feel of the glass at my lips, and even the sound of ice clinking against the glass.

I like ceramic cup for my coffee in the morning. For drinking water I use glass tumblers or steel tumblers. I do not like plastic cups or paper cups. Glass cups are also welcome for me. But Iprefer porcelain or ceramic cups / mugs for my tea / coffee.

I agree with you, green tea is wonderful drunk from a glass cup. I also use porcelain an ceramic mugs for coffee and tea. When I take a coffee from a coffee shop it is either in a Styrofoam or plastic cup. When I visit somewhere like an office and am offered tea or coffee I prefer plastic or Styrofoam because I don't know if their cups are washed properly and I don't want to pick up germs.
Cold drinks, such as water, soda, juice etc. taste best if served in a nice glass.

Hello sophialin. In my office, I use my stainless cup with a filter inside for drinking water, which prevents the tea leaves from coming out while drinking. But at home, I usually use a glass for drinking water and milk and coffee.

Hot drinks like tea, coffee or hot chocolate are best served in a big china mug. They just don't taste right in anything else! The exception is herbal teas which are nice in a glass mug as they are more delicate.
Cold drinks always benefit from a tall glass, and plastic should be reserved only for small children as it feels horrid on the mouth.

I use plastic cups for water and juice, a coffee cup for coffee and tea ( I think it is ceramic) but I do not use glass very often because I am too clumsy and break the glass too many times! I am not sure what you mean by one-off paper cup? Is it a very thick paper, or removable paper that goes into a cup holder? Do you use glass for hot tea too? I have some Chinese tea cups, but we do not use them often because of concern about lead!
