did you like playing with water when you were a kid?

hi ersmommy! yeah! that made me remembered those times when i was a kid when i used to join parades where we throw water balloons to all the people. that was really fun.

hi subha! when i was little i used to "wash" my doll. adults would say its bad coz it might cause a rain according to superstitions. i stopped washing my dolls since they don't get easily dirty anyway. but not because it might cause rain.

oh yeah! water guns! kids love them! they just fire to anything and anywhere and anyone! i think its cute and funny as long as the one that would be squirted with water is a fun-loving person. i also don't encounter difficulties in inviting my niece and nephew to go swimming. they are always up for it.

that's a trend to many kids in our neighborhood too! when my nephew and niece plays with water bombs, i get irked actually because they would bring it inside the house and wet the floor which i don't like to happen.>. <

I guess their gang water wars are too big in scale that the outside neighborhood isn't enough and that the insides of your house would often be among the casualties...

I wish I could call up my old friends and do it again, now that we're big, we might as well have bigger water pistols and plenty of water balloons to throw

you'll still play with water guns despite your age?? you would look really funny and childish. but then, its good to be a kid once in a while.

I would pour ice cold water into my water balloons and have them drenched with red crepe paper so when they hit on targets, I wonder if they'll keep on dodging or intentionally catch them

if it were me i would catch it carefully to prevent it from "exploding" and splashing the contents at me.^__^;;

If I knew that you'd be catching them, I'd be throwing them so hard, catching them intact would only be possible if you caught it with its flow and not simply grabbing it while running its course and trajectory

you really thought about that huh? impact and trajectory and all that.. but i was a softball player. i think i'll be able to catch that water balloon without splashing water to myself.

Then I just have to be generous on throwing multiple water balloons, from above, straight at front, from the sides but, not from behind.

Let's see how your softball prowess can handle that..

okay! i give up! let the water balloons rain on me! but i'm going to fight back! i have water balloons too! ho ho ho!

gaaah! i wasn't able to go to Otakuzine! i went to Hundred islands! i was disappointed i wasn't able to go to that anime event but i'm sure there will be next time. the Hundred Islands escapade once in a lifetime. and i sure did enjoy there! woohoo! i love swimming!

we didn't really plant a flag on every island that we went to. we just kissed the ground. just kidding. we stopped by in a few islands and just passed by a few before settling to one island to go swimming.

I really don't know how to swim.. all I could do is stay underwater for a few seconds, more so if I have goggles that also includes the nose. Flapping my hands upward so that I would be pushing myself downward.

Kissed the land? I only see those when people have stayed on ships for a long and exhausting time.. like how ship wrecked crews do.

you should learn how to swim. it makes an outing at the beach or in a pool resort more fun. i swear.
its been years ago since i i stepped on a beach so i had enough reasons to kiss the ground. just kidding. i didn't. really.^__^;;

I totally agree with you, it is more fun than staying on one spot and then moving on to the next by just walking slowly towards it. I mean, I really do want to learn how.

I don't want to go to an outing and be carried away by the waves if by chance it was at a beach.. It would really be awkward if someone saves me, a girl perhaps, and brings me to shore unconscious.

Then again, they might think that I'm only acting since I am tall and drowning seems to distant for me.^0^

nobody would really believe that you can drown if you're tall. people might think you just want to get saved by a girl to get her attention and phone number. just kidding. i'm sure it will be easy for you to learn how to swim. and i'm sure you know someone who can teach you.

Time and opportunity are just some of the luxuries I don't have I think I could also include money with those two I mentioned

that's just too bad. maybe you can learn how to swim in Manila Bay or in Pasig River.

i don't know whether i was like water as i was a child.i think i don't like .beacause i hated washing face and head.
but i saw my little cousins like it.they usually staied with basin all of the day.and the parents warning them many times and they also plaied water.so i think most of the child likes playing water.

its very dangerous to swim in a river especially if the current is strong. and its dangerous for people who can't swim. i guess i was lucky because i grew up beside a lake and i just had to learn how to swim. but i also fear deep water and big waves. i just avoid going to deeper parts.

hi ikbooi! that's a really nice childhood story you got there. it was a good thing that you were able to play in the river with your cousin. i understand your mother for forbidding you to play in the river. it can really be dangerous.

Hi dear secretbear, pleasant and beautiful remembrance of a kid could never fade though it had happened long long ago. i have only a few good childhood memories. not because i made a few but because my memory is not that good.^__^;; i have friends who can't really believe how i forgot something great we did before. and i kinda envy those who have good memory abilities.
