Do you purchase carton or bottled juice? Or frozen concentrate?

Fresh squeezed would be best, I think. Buy oranges, cut them, squish them, each day...
If I could set up a system like that in my house, I think it would be a great little start of the day tradition. (Second only to a cup of coffee.) But, juice extractors can be messy and who wants to clean it every day. I generally treat with some suspicion each processing step between fresh food and my plate. This includes rendering juice into concentrate.
You will notice, if you look at the juice containers, that much 'concentrate' is actually filled with corn syrup. I will try to pick out only those which say 100% juice, but I think that even these concentrates lack the Vit C you expect to find in Juice unless fortified. It is my opinion, that a fresh piece of fruit is best, but that is just not a tradition I generally make a part of my breakfast.
In my defense, however, for the last week, I have tried to have one orange ever morning. I have a bag of them at my office. When I get in, I have an orange. The idea is to keep me from over sweetening my coffee or plunking 50 cents into a soda machine. And, fresh oranges have a natural source of Vit C, instead of those pills I seem to take every evening -- which I can't entirely be sure really gets absorbed into my system anyway.
There was a time when I was drinking a lot of juice, but it was a habit which needed to be broken. I would drink juice before going to bed. Then I would get up after a few hours to go to the bathroom. Then I would .. half asleep.. go get another drink of juice before going to bed.
Eventually, I figured out that I was doing this routine every couple of hours. I realized this, partially, by watching how much juice disappeared between night time and morning. I believe this was a disruption in my sleep cycle. I think it was leading to a problem for my health. I have since made a point of not sucking down the juice as much. I believe I am sleeping better.
Then again, I've started taking Vit C at night before going to sleep. It might be that my body wants more Vitamin C than most people. If I take a supplement, my body might not be telling me to wake and get some more juice. I don't know, but that sounds reasonable.

I like to buy the frozen concentrates, because often times there is a good deal on them and not only that but they take up less space then the cartons. I also feel that the juice sitting in the carton for a long period of time isn't very healthy.

I don't purchase juice that often...maybe a couple times a month. I usually buy the bottled unrefrigerated 100% juice if I have a coupon or if there's a good sale.
Lately though I've started buying the frozen concentrate...I noticed the store brand was really cheap so I tried it and it tasted great (even when adding a good deal more water than the directions call for). I tend to add water to all the juice I buy..not just frozen concentrate...otherwise it's too sweet for me...plus there's the added benefit of stretching the juice and my dollar :)

I buy it by the carton or the plastic jug most times. I have never bought it frozen that I can remember. Your husband drinks juice like my husband drinks milk. Milk is outragious here and we have to have it to cook with also. I would love to have fresh squeezed juice. That sounds very thirstquenching in the summer times.

I used to never buy a lot of juice because like you said it's pretty expensive, but then I started shopping at this store called Aldi's and their stuff is like a quarter of the cost of the regular grocery stores. I love cranberry juice and so does my daughter so I buy the bottled cranberry juice that they have a Aldi's. It's only like $1.39 for a big bottle.

My son loves fresh squeezed orange juice, but because oranges cost so much he does not get it very often. I buy several different types of juice. We have frozen concentrate for the orange and pineapple juice. We also have the cans of shelf stable apple juice and grape juice. I sometimes buy a bottle of juice, but not very often.

I like the cartons just as much as the fresh and seen as though it's cheaper and lasts longer I get that, plus I can get a pack of four in so I usually always have a new carton to go at!

I don't get too much juice. I would love to get a really good juicer, though!! On the rare occasion I do get juice I usually get apple or orange and in the bottle. My MIL always has frozen concentrate in the freezer and we enjoy having it handy when we are there...I don't know why I don't do that myself now that I think about it...?? Yes, I think the concentrate is definitely cheaper.
