Do you prefer large dogs  

I like medium to larger dogs. It makes me feel more secure to know that if I have a larger dog around, people might be less leary of approaching the house.

I love my dogs. I have two medium sized, and one large size. It cuts down on people coming to the house trying to sell things when they see dogs barking at them on the street.

Me i love/prefer the larger dog because dog can afraid thieves and the smaller dogs ignore by the thieves.

I love larger dogs because they are sweet and they can fall me on our carpet i`m happy for having a big dog.

I prefer medium to large dogs.

I grew up with a Great Dane and a German Shepherd, then we had greyhounds, and at the moment a lurcher and a Scottish Deerhound.

large dogs amre calmer and gentler than smaller breeds, and more fun to have around. you can give them a proper cuddle.

I do prefer small dogs, the reason was very simple the expenses for foods. Of course small dogs eat less than the large dogs. Secondly, the maintenance on parlors, vets and medicines surely large dog needs huge budget, but I am just practical so I do prefer the small ones.

Since a dog is usually kept for protection and companionship, I prefer larger dogs. Smaller dogs would look like cats. :) So I usually prefer larger dogs. A big protective, furry creature who will take care of me and be with me always. :) Cheers.

I do, i think they are more lovable and i'm not afraid to play with them rough.

I prefer to have smaller ones because the bigger ones are too big to keep in my house. I would love to have a watch dog some day though but my yard isn't big enough either. We only live on a 1/4 acre and my hime takes up most of the property, along with the swimming pool and attached garage. I love all dogs though the same.

Even though I like all dogs, I prefer a larger dog. Not real big though. We have a border collie and she is just the right size. She thinks she is a lap dog sometimes. She is about 40 lbs.

All of the dogs I have ever had have been in the 20-40 pound range. I guess that would be considered medium. I don't like them really big, but I don't like them really small either. Most of the dogs I have ever had have been beagles.

I am very much attracted to larger dogs.... always have been.

however at the moment I only have a smaller breed dog, a bichon.

though, while a bichon is considered a lap dog - they are not a yippy or snippy dog.

I really dislike yippiness in a dog.

small dogs tend to be nervous and yappy and I also fear stepping on them.
