Can you believe this? Since January of this year, sausages have been found with a large metal object imbedded in it. The first reports were in Queensland, then Western Aust, & now my state of South Australia. It is only sausages that these metal objects are found oin. They are not specifying the nature of the object. No extortion threats have been received. The sausages are not from the same company or producer. It's weird. Someone is a pathetic weirdo out there. Or is it a copy cat thing? They were warnings on TV tonight to be careful of all sausages. I dont know what I am supposed to do? We love sausages. I guess I will have to avoid them for awhile.

Wow, that's crazy! I hope that they figure out the source of your problem and get it stopped! Luckily, I'm not a sausage eater, but that sure is scary

I dont think they have tracked it down yet. It was weird, because it was happening in three different states.

Gosh, that is awful. I hope they figure out what is going on soon. We had ground beef recalled not too long ago, but it was for a different reason. I think it was sick cows or something.

You make your own sausages! Wow! I bet they are yummy. Do you need special equipment to make your sausages?

That is so crazy. It sounds like things that are happening over here in the US. Recall after recall. I think I would stay clear of them for a little while unless they figure out what is going on.

Yes, we have had quite a few recalls. This is one of the odder ones though.

Its a sick world when people do this stuff. Here in the US we have had people put razors in kids candy. You have to wonder why they would want to do this to anyone. Its very sick.

Hi jennybianca! Gosh, that is scary! I guess, that weirdo who is responsible for those metal objects in sausages is sick in his mind or maybe he is trying to hurt the sausage industry and eventually hurt the consumers. I just hope that weirdo will be caught. Just my thoughts dear! Take care and have a nice day! :)

It could be dangeous had not consumers seen the metal bit. The trouble with catching this person is that it is happening in four different states.

I suppose it could very well be a copycat thing. But i dont really see how it could be dangerous, as long as you look out for the metal, it should be ok to eat them, right? just be carefull when you do.

I suppose that depends on whether the metal sticks out of the sausage, or whether it is hidden. People sometimes eat sausages by picking up the whole sausage, wrapped in bread, & taking a big bite. Can you imagine the injury if metal object was bitten into?

ouch! yes, if you eat them that way, i would advice you to avoid them for some time, or at least cut them in half before eating them, and be carefull with them. either way, watch out.

Our world is certainly filled with sickos. I buy my sausage in the bulk package so I slice off the patties myself. I am sure I would spot something in the mix that shouldn't be there that I would not see in a link sausage.

We just eat whole swausages, once cooked. Often we eat them off bbq's, in a piece of bread. One wouldn't see a piece of metal quite possibly, until they bit it. When I did my shopping today I didn't buy any sausages.
