Earnings Recalculation Coming Up  |

 Hello everyone!Just wanted to give you a heads up that April payments for March activity will go out in the next day or two.
Every month before we do payments, we do a recalculation of earnings for the previous month that redistributes earnings from moderated/deleted actions to the rest of myLot users. This will occur sometime today or tomorrow.
So what happens is that a small number of users with low-quality activity will see a decrease in March earnings, while a larger number of users will see a slight increase in March earnings.
We do this every single month. We didn't think it was fair for those forfeited earnings to just disappear. We'd rather give it back to the myLot community.
Here's a quick example. A user creates a couple of discussions and earns 5 cents. Those discussions are later deleted because they violate the myLot community guidelines. That 5 cents is then given back to the rest of the myLot users during this recalculation process.
I hope this makes sense! It's definitely a good thing for 99% of our users.

I had many times of seeing the earnings increase from one time to another when I was mylotting and did not know why. The last time when I saw this happen to my earning was that it finally increased to more than twenty cents and I was so happy to see it.  oneandonemakesix (24038) | 2 years ago | I have to say I noticed this discussion from responding to GndpaB's post about loosing earnings to all the discussions, at which time I noticed my earnings for March had increased and I didn't know why until I saw Crash's post, and that explained what I was seeing....and as I said I think this really helps explain things going on here...
But I think something needs to be explained as to the reason for the huge rash of deletions, outside of 'guidelines' violation,
I've gotten wind that a person was banned which would account for good number of posts but not all of my posts that I responded to.
