I have family visiting..

Yea of course family should come before some website. I don't sit on mylot 24/7 so it probably wouldn't lower my time on here anyway but I would certainly put the family first.

I think that it is only natural. When company comes in from out of town, they will be making demands of you. They will require your attention and you will have less time and energy to devote to other things.. like Mylotting or yardwork. But, if all works out well, you can still check up from time to time. For me, it is easy, even if company comes in from out of town, I am unlikely to take off from work. Therefore, I can still check and post a few times from my workplace while I wait for my patients to arrive so I can get started. That means, I have a relatively constant opportunity for mylotting even if my participation waxes and wanes.

I am actually visiting my brother as I sit here and type on myLot. He is making breakfast right now, so I decided to hop on here. I will not be home until sometime on Sunday, so I will not be doing as much myLotting for the next few days.

That is understandable. This is your company, and they came from all the way out of town to see you. You want to do things that would include them, and looking at it from the outside, MyLot is a one person game.

I don't have any out of town company that comes by, but there are things that happen that prevent me from MyLotting. On Friday me, my mom, and my grandma have "Girl's night" where we drink and party, either at home or my grandma's girlfriend's house, so I don't MyLot then. Also, if other family, like my sis comes over, or even my little special friend, I come away from the computer and spend time with them.

Although MyLot is a lot of fun and very addictive, there are times when you must put it down. To be at the computer at times like this seems rude.

I will truly miss you ersmommy. I don't have much a family to visit me. The ones I have are always with me, living in the same house. So, haven't faced such a situation yet.
