1) Unlike Friendster bulletins, people can reply to your ramblings.
2) Unlike instant messaging, your ramblings are there FOREVER.
3) I can touch lives here while getting paid.
4) I can wreck a person's day while getting paid.
5) I can say what I think without remorse or whatever while getting paid.
6) I can pick a fight while getting paid.
7) I can "counsel" people while getting paid.
8) I can declare that Jesus is YOUR solution while getting paid. :P
9) I can kill time while getting paid. :p
10) I get paid. :p

Dont mean to sound harsh but to me, it sounds like your focusing alot of your energy on being paid!! Nothing to do with helping people, making friends or just get all your issues of your chest!!
Some people are on here for the community side of it, they dont even think about the money side of things!!!

Hi, Cinderella2007, I was reading through my old threads, and I realized I was very catty and haughty in my reply to you. I'm sorry about the tone I took, and I hope you'd shrugged it off. I hope you forgive me for being quite mean.
Regarding focusing on the money side of MyLot, I guess it's because the site is designed to pay up for the participation. I used to think that it's not as "real" as the regular forums because of the money factor, but you are correct, a lot of people do want to help, too.
Honestly, when I respond to discussions, I make sure that I help, or can contribute to the discussion, or genuinely want to say my thoughts on the matter. I don't just comment something random just for the points. And I really was being cheeky and cute. Since I got catty and haughty, I'm sorry about my behavior and my attitude.

you are right this website has a lot of good things that come along with it and i know that i have bene here for a few months and plan to stay here off and on for as long as this website is able to keep its doors open..i mean this is a good website where people can come and talk about their problems and other people will listen to them...thats a great part of it...

Above your views almost all senior people like in the same way and they can make new friends and communicate with them and give solutions to them and communicate with old users give lot of information regarding various sites and i will get paid from this site and make money from referrals so our discussions will stay long time so it is good offer for us and i understood this points here.

It actually takes a lot of patience to cultivate a blog. You need to be resourceful too. You can go to http://www.surefirewealth.com to read the resources on setting up blogs and how to monetize them. good luck!

nenyalorien why on earth would you wantto wreck some persons day that sounds a lot like the trolls we are trying to stop from destroying our reputations. what fun would you get out of hurting some one you do not even know? yes mylot is great but to deliberately hurt someone is not great. touch lives is great if you are meaning it in a postive way.

I guess another reason why I like MyLot is that a lot of MyLotters do genuinely need help, and since I like teaching, a lot, this is a good place to do that... While being paid. XD
