when was the last time you played in an official game (any sports)?

hi jill! i wish i was an aggressive player too! i'm too meek inside the court but i think i'm a little bit good on stopping a spiked ball. wow. you did bowling too? nice. i used to play bowling too but only for a short time back in college. they had no players for it and we just volunteered to help the student council.

if you want i can teach you some sports....you still have to have some time for yourself...all work and no play make life dull and pale.....lol

of course i play, i play ps with my children and some scrabble too. but i dont have time to play sports that long. as you know i am the mother and the father of four children and i would rather spend time with them. i play bowling with them too. dont worry i am not going to be a dull person...lol. i am so energetic to be dull.

when your children grows up, big enough to play sports like volleyball, i'm sure you'll be able to play volleyball and other sports like it roni! its hard to be a single parent but it will pay off someday i'm sure. you just have to wait until your children are as tall as you and they'll beat you in volleyball and badminton!

ano ka ba my children are all taller than me. my youngest is just 12 but she is tall. my other kids are 16, 15 and 14. they sure can beat me with volleyball. but i work at nights so if ever i am awake in the morning they are all inside watching tv. we play badminton every once in a while but not on a official game.

awww. that's too bad roni! so your children are all grown ups na pala. too bad you don't have a lot of free time to play with them.

if i have time and they are in the mood to play then i will really play with them. but most of the kids now a days would rather paly the ps or at the pc... so we have time to play ps. sometimes we play scrabble. its just not easy to be a mom and a dad at the same time.

i know. my mother is a single parent too. and there are four of us. she'd been alone since i was three. and i can understand about kids preferring to play with their pcs and ps. i see a lot of students still on uniform making tambay at internet stations playing every games they know.

its really tough playing with the champions. and your team should be commended with the bravery and effort to face them.^__^ the time of our game is getting near! i hope i'll be able to play well. good to see you here grecy!

well its part of the game.who knows maybe some other time your team will have more player than them.i think its not how you won a game but how you played it....right?

you're right. as long as we play fairly and squarely and we enjoy the game, nothing else would matter. i also think that winning is just the icing on the cake.

hi kun! depressing but we lost. we had a lot of errors. we won the first set but we started committing errors on the second set. i was so nervous at the start. but i regained focus in the middle of the game. an audience who is a varsity volleyball player said there were a lot of call mistakes by the referee. but most of us were not knowledgeable about the technicality so we failed to notice it.

but it was so much fun to play. it could have been more fun though if we had won. but there would be next time. i hope we can win by then.

i used to play sports too during my college days. i had tried soccer by the way. i can't do it. its too tiring!

How disappointing:( But never mind, it's the referee's fault that cause your team the game.. But it's ok, as long as your team has got the team spirit and the most important of all, had fun together^_^ hehe
It's all about sportsmanship, win or loss is just a name, wat matters is the experience.. haha^_^
Soccer is good, it trains stamina and improve overall fitness.. haha

yeah, what matters is how we tried our best and how we enjoyed the game. but i think most of my teammates are really hung up with our loss. it could have been an easy game for us. we just had a bad start during the second set and that made us tensed during the rest of the game. a lot of us wanted to win so much. i hope we'll do better next time. i feel like i was the one who brought them bad luck.

haha.. There are no individuals in a sports game.. It's all about team work and helping out each other.. So dun blame yourself.. At least your team learn a lesson the easy way out thru a game.. hehe^_^

yeah, volleyball is a team effort. i know that much. but still, its unavoidable to blame yourself when you commit a mistake right? we also lost on our second game. and this time, i'm sure i'm not the bad luck because i wasn't able to play in that game.^__^;; but still, it was sad that we haven't won in any games! our third game is coming up on Tuesday. i hope fate would give us at least one win! lucky for our basketball team, they have two wins and one loss.

yeah we won indeed. and we were humble winners. we even invited some of our opponents to join us in our outing then.

thanks for the response Paranoia. my brother was a baseball player too back when he was still a student. i think he was my influence that's why i got into playing softball when i was still at school too.
