So I go to figure out what I'm doing for dinner to discover I forgot to defrost anything. What to do in a pinch? Make breakfast! Tonight we are having french toast, hash browns, and eggs! It's so filling, and rather inexpensive as well!

That would sure work for me! I've done that many times, pancakes, sausage, eggs, whatever you have on hand. I haven't made French toast in forever and that sure sounds good right now. I wish I had made bread today, that would have been awesome!

Ooh! I haven't had french toast on home-made bread in years! That sounds sooo good! We just use the regular ole store bought bread.

I love having breakfast for dinner! It seems to make breakfast that much better. I was having trouble trying to come up with an idea for lunch today, but after reading your post I think I know what I am going to make now. Some breakfast! Thanks for unintentionally giving me a great idea, lol.

I do breakfast for dinner sometimes. I like to do French toast and scrambled eggs and fruit.

When we went on holiday once, we would eat out every evening, and we found an excellent little place and they really looked after us when we went in because we went in every evening. Well they did a huge breakfast that they served all day and so this is what my hubby had every night for a week, he loved it!! But I have done a breakfast many a time for dinner, you are right it is inexpensive and there is always at least a bit of it that my kids will love. In fact, I have not done one for a while so I might just put it on my shopping list for next week!!
