2. sunkissed (2000) | 3 months ago | I always valued my mother and father the same, but when i was a child I could talk to my mother easier than I could to my dad, he was more quit than my dad was.He worked alot, so really we always went to my mother when we needed something. But when we grew up, I could go to either one of them when I needed advise or help. But my father passed away in 2000.I really do miss him.so now it is my mother that I go to.

| 3. welshdai (69) | 3 months ago | i would say i value my father more, because he was the one who raised me,did stuff for me,took me on holidays and still does me favours. sometimes it not right to said you value one parent more than the other but because i only know my dad and i know hear stories about my mother it harder to try at value her at all

6. jer31558 (2256) | 3 months ago | Well, my father passed away 20 years ago, and my mother just last week, but I still value them both equally. Though they are both gone from this world, the things that they taught me will be with me for a life time. They each taught me different things and some of the same things. I value them all.

8. mimico (777) | 3 months ago | That's a tough question. I'd say I value them both equally because they raised me together. While it is true that I spend more time with my mom by shopping together and doing girly stuff, it doesn't mean that my dad hasn't made a huge impact on my life just because he's always away at work. My dad taught me to be strong and to have good moral character. My mom is more pampering because she coddles me sometimes, so it's my dad who's the disciplinarian at home. In a way, I feel lucky to be loves equally by both my mom and my dad. Other families have one good parent and one bad parent or even 2 bad parents which is something that I do not want to deal with.

10. danishcanadian (12867) | 3 months ago | It's not a matter of valuing one more than another, it's a matter of the unique values they hold in my life. If one was so much more valuable than the other, I would not need two parents. The act is, they are both valuable to me in their own unique way.
