Is the any pizza shape beside circle?

Well the small personal pan is almost shaped like a square. I do wish that they would come out with another shape for the pizza.

Yes, sicilian style pizza is square. And, also when you order thin crust pizza it's cut in to squares.

I personally don't care what the shape is. It all tates the same to me. LOL

Actually Papa John's has a square pizza. But I don't really think I've ever seen any other shape. But I agree that other shape of pizzas would attract more people. I think it would be seen as fun way of attracting people to buy more pizza. That would certainly draw me to buy more pizzas.

In most pizzeria in Europe especially in Italy they come out in slabs of square pizzas. It's good to know though where and who served that the fairly well established pizza as we know today.I think it will be nice to know the origin and the history of pizza and so I got these informations for everyone to peruse.

Apparently, it was created by a man named Raffaele Esposito from Naples, Italy. Esposito's creation was designed to honor the visit of Queen Margherita to Naples in 1889, and he decorated it with the colors of the Italian flag, using white cheese, green basil, and red tomatoes (tomatoes, which had arrived from the west about 60 years earlier, were originally thought to be poisonous, but by Esposito's time they were already embraced by Italian cuisine)

Italian immigrants brought this recipe with them to America. The first pizzeria was opened in America in 1905.

The deep-pan pizzas that we know today was invented and introduced in 1943 in Chicago by Ike Sewell.

we have a rectangle pizza here in the philippines! it's huge and you can 4 different flavors in one order. it's also good for 15+ people.

LOL..but yeah, i think only one pizza parlor offers that.

I have eaten in 2 pizza outlet/resto with square and rectagular-shaped pizzaz aside from their round pizzas. The pizza also come in different ingredients/flavor. I guess the most common shape of pizza here is round or circle. Anyway, i don't care much about the shape, what matters to me is the taste of the pizza itself.

in our country we have square pizza. then that pizza is devided by four and you can pick four different flavor. so one pizza in four flavors. it is really cool for sharing. so if you are craving for different kinds of flavor you can get that in just one pizza

I've seen square pizzas somewhere in one of the Pizza shops in India. Cant remember where though!

I don't know if you know Greenwich Pizza. they do serve pizza on rectangular/square shapes! but per servings is not that big

I think it is because pans tend to be circle shaped maybe. I have seen and eaten a square pizza before, I think it was in Pizza Hut or somewhere.
