Stimulus checks losing money...

Goodie..I'm sorry i should have mention the american stupid check our mighty leader thought would help the ecomomy..LOL..now it seems to be backfiring on them..LOL..bad news for those who were expecting to pay bills,buy food or just take a break.

Would have been mighty nice of your mighty leader,
To check and see if there was enough money in the coffers before offering it to everyone.
That is the trouble with politics.
We always get offered stuff, but never receive it.

I know and i heard that the money is going over to Iraq..now i guess they figured that when everyone heard that they would say like i did that yes our soldiers need help, but no its for the country to help build them back after we bombed them..Go figure?

That is something I have never been able to figure out Kitty.
A country spends millions of dollars bombing the crap out of another country,
Then give's them money to help rebuild it.
So they can go in again next time and do more damage.
Why bomb them in the first place.
Think of all the money they could have saved.

Maybe if us women ruled things would be..Would you like some cream with your tea?..LOL..but no its boys never growing up..bullying others for more power..oh well guess i better go to sleep..getting tired..talk with you when its my morning..

Sid are you right about this? i was under the impression this was something extra for everyone..if so boy am i wrong!

i would like to think i'm wrong but i've heard this from a lot of people so I don't think so. I've heard that it is deducted from next years tax return which makes sense because they are only issuing them to those that filed for returns. those that paid in are not getting checks. I personally think the whole thing is ridiculous....i don't see how it will help the economy in the long run....i do hope i am wrong on this.

Zuke..My friend and his wife filed joint so they were suppose to get 1200..they instead got 600..so he contacted them and they told him that they wouldn't have the amount promised..the people first in line got what was promised but this past week and on will get half of what they are suppose to get.
There are already alot of Po's people very very upset about this and when more find out this will be like a war here..contact them Zuke..and i'm sorry to tell you this bad news.
The explanation was that they needed to send more money to Iraq to help them build the place up from ..now this is my words...from our unecessary bombings.

That is total crap if that is what they are doing
because of my husband SS# we will be one of the last one mailed out
will there even BE any money by then?
We are expecting the $1200 for him and I plus what ever it is supposed to be for child credits for 5 children
if the rumor about the money going to Iraq is true then the US might be looking at a serious revolt against the government

maybe this is a blessing in disguise....what I heard is that you will have to pay back next year out of your taxes from this so the less you get...the less you have to pay back. I don't beleive this is a free gift from our government to begin with. It is kind of a forced loan which is unfair.

I thought something was wrong with this. I am a single parent filing head of household, and because my eldest daughter turned 18 in February, they wouldn't give me the $300 for her. Then I thought they would give me $600 for being Head of Household and $300 for each child. I ended up getting $600, $300 each for me and my youngest daughter. She got a cute purse and wallet with it.
