Light Timers

i hear ya about having some kind of an inside light on all night long like that. but i do not have any timers set to my lamps like that or any of my lights in my house. i leave the kitchen stove light on all night long, that way if somebody needs to get during the night and go into the kitchen they don't have to mess around with the light switch trying to see for a glass. lol and waking everybody up. lol and i have a chandler light fixture in my dining room, and usually i will leave just one of those bulbs burning all night as well in case that one of the boys has to get up during the night to go to the bathroom, it gives off enough light like that to see good enough by if one has to get up during the night. are those light timers very expensive?

No...I don't have any timers. I have smaller lights I use at night to keep a safe path from the bedrooms to the bathroom for guests but don't normally leave any lights on under any other circumstances.

We have motion censor lights. If someone tries to come near our house, the lights come on. It works for seeing if wild animals are on my porch or any bad guys. It also comes in handy when I come home at night with groceries in my hand. My family tends to use the motion censor lights to help us with seeing steps, too, at night. I've thought about light timers for illuminating the house for when I come home from work, but I seem to change jobs so often that I'd be constantly changing the timers. My current job I only come home at night if I stay after to shop or in the winter. Take care

I have a few timers but never use them. Last time I used them was 8yrs ago for some christmas lights outside.
