We are often so taken up with what's happening around us, our work, our families, and just plain making ends meet, that we forget the importance of having a good laugh once in awhile. We all need someone that we can be silly with. We talk about fun as if it isn't that important, but it's true that laughter is still the best medicine. We all know how we feel after we've had a good burst of laughter. It leaves us less stressed, more openhearted, and more ready to reach out to people. The feeling is catching too, because our smile becomes more genuine. How many here believe in the importance of having some good old fashioned fun?

I think many of my friends here view me as a "very" serious type person, as many of my discussions tend to be of a serious nature, but I would hope people also can sense the silly side of me when I post real silly, goofy discussions...like my "serious" philosophical discussion I did some time back about.."bubble farts"
I like to have that balance..yes, to be quite serious, but then to also have fun and have a good laugh...sometimes it'll be a YouTube video that someone shares with me that gets me rolling off my cheer and hiccuping with laughter--One of the ways I have fun is to crank up the stereo and sing out loud to my heart's content--talk about a stress reliever!

Hi Pose123! I completely agree with you that laughter is the best medicine. It relieves me of stress and the pressure of daily struggles. When my husband jokes around, I feel life getting lighter and it makes me think more positive. I do love to have some good old fashioned fun.
Take care and God bless!

I agree that humor play a very important role in our lives. I often joke around with those around me, either they making me laugh or I making them laugh. A smile is the one thing that you can give to others no matter how much or how little you have.

I definitely need to be able to kick back and relax once in awhile or my mood goes downhill and stays there. With so much going on in the world and at home I think that everyone can benefit from having a little bit of fun.
