I have made a mistake in my job. What to do?

Everyone makes mistakes at work so don't take it so hard when you make one. If writing yourself a note helps, do that. I write a lot of things down because I'm not as young as I used to be and my memory isn't as good. When I make a mistake I figure out how it happened and I take the necessary steps to avoid doing it again.

We are just human being and bound to commit mistakes but we of course have to avoid it as far as work in concern. Maybe before we have to finalize things,we need to consult our head or other colleague, they might help us to see things that we didn't recognize!

Everyone makes mistakes, the important thing is that you learn from them. I would try to fix the mistake if I could. If I could not fix it then I would go and tell my supervisor about the error that I made and apologize and see what I can do to fix it or make up for it.

Some mistakes arenot tolerable and we should avoid many minor mistakes.Few mistakes can expect from any employee so do not take so much tension of it .Just try to learn from your mistakes.Making mistakes also increase your experience about your life and your job.

mistakes are the best teacher in life. we live we learn and with mistakes and accepting that we make or made a mistake makes us or mold us to be a better person. dont be depressed with the mistakes you saw. may this mistakes inspire you to do it better. it is natural for human to make mistakes, learn from it.

i think a human cant be avoid to do mistakes..but we should little think before do anything in life,then we can little bit avoid..but we cant be complete mistake free

Hey i think you should take a leave of 2 days. if you are frustrated and going for the job in this mind set, it will worsen the condition. You will make more mistake. you need a break.
I was in the same condition and at the end - i left the job. pulling myself as a rubber band to be active and more productive. but i failed because i need break.. i think you should take a big break.

We commit mistakes, because were human. But mistakes are just challenges that makes us stronger and stronger.

Just be yourself and don't stop dreaming. Have faith to your self and to God.

Mistakes are inevitable as part of being a human. It is not on our coping mechanism how we accept such mistakes. No matter what you do, the damage is already made. Don't take a hard for too long. Just admit you have done something wrong and promise to do all you can not to commit the same mistake again.
