Avon i think is one of the companys that sells itself anyway.That may make it easier for you & once your customers get to know you,well your a winner.

I used to do Avon, I started it back in 1999 and I was given a road that was classed as "my patch" and it was a huge long road! It was so daunting when I first started, I just put the books through the door and then would go back to collect them. But I remember the apprehension well! But once you get going you will wonder what you were worried about, although there will be one or two awkward ones there always are!

Good luck!! You're very brave to start out on this venture. It's not easy to go out and knock on doors. You'll have rude people, but you will also have very kind people to make up for it. You can't take it personally. I wish you much luck! With your husband in the car, you have some moral support close by and that's a good thing too.

Good luck - this is always the most scary part of doing Avon for me (I am shy) but when you discover you can do it, it will really boost your confidence.

Hello! I sell avon too. I ususlly just buy the books and those bags then go around neighborhood pulling them on the doors. I do not want to talk to the people. If i had to do that i wouldnt be selling it at all. I have problems in my feet and leggs. So just close neighbors. i usually get 60 books and a few flyers. and the door knob bags. I do not wear makeup up i love the jewerly. Now they have the flipflops and clothes too. I also love the bubble baths and lotions n some perfumes. I wish you luck in your avon sales. When did you sign up? I signed up in Oct 2007.

You can do it. If you show your good personality to those people I am sure that you'll be fine. Greet them how you'll want to be greeted. Even if some do come to the door with an messed up attitude judt keep step don't let them mess up what you got going on which is your business. But always remeber this never goback to the same place hwere you left your books at (dooor to door)Keep track of the areas that you've hit already. Hey Ilook at it this way where there's plenty that will not take there's plenty that will take an Avon book and order.:) That's what motivates me and also I have a good supportive manager which also supports and teach me every step of the way. Question for you? How far do you want to do in your Avon business? That's for everyone that is in the Business or is planing on being in the business?

I have never gone door to door because of some crazy people out there. NEVER go alone. I only go to businesses.
