Okay should I Confront

you must i guess...and ask him to confirm all what you had heared about against you...when you say living together ..is that mean as a partner or just a room mate or something..

If this is who I think it is, then just let it be. Don't confront him cause he's just being a jerk. Also, he'll be leaving soon. People who say bad things about people are just unhappy with themselves. Don't stoop to his level. Hope this helps.

The better question might be, "what do you want to do about what this guy is saying and doing (threatening)?" Do you want to confront him?

I would start to look for another place to live before you say anything, but after that I would let him know how you feel. Apparently he didn't have a problem with you before you moved in, it isn't fun, or easy to live with other people, I have had good roomates, and really bad roomates. I had a roomate that would pass out on my couch every morning even though he had a bedroom, he liked the couch.

Oh my, that is just horrible that anyone would be that mean, especially if you are roommates! I honestly don't even know what I would do.

I have had a bad roommate before too, but I lives on a college campus and pretty much had to deal with her till the year was over. But she talked trash as well, once I heard her say something when she thought I was sleeping. It took every bit of will power not to scream "at least I'm not a druggy and a.." LOL I won't finish that sentence.

But seriously, it may be something you just have to sit with and definitely keep an eye on him. He does sound cruel and heartless if he is being verbally abusive and threatening the life of an animal!:(

I think that if I were in your shoes I would have my husband confront him. Theres just no reason for someone to act like this. I'm not sure who's house this is but if it was his, I'd be looking for a new place to live, if it was mine, he would be out on his butt.

Two options really:
Confront him. He may initially deny it. It will drag into an argument. End result one of you may have to leave the room.

Keep Quite and ignore him for a while:- Quite probably he will stop talking this nonsense.

My suggestion take up suggestion 2 to start with and if no response go to option 1

Why in the hell are you living with somebody like that? You must confront him, but do not be agressive. Speak calmly, and let him get his anger. I think that, more than just saying, you should leave where you are right now. You don't need him to live, just go get your life and forget him! Let him cook his own food and let him run his miles, since you won't be there to talk to him.
By the way, how do you know that he is talking those things about you? Rumors are everywhere, so be careful! And EXTREMELY careful, I mean.

I would confront him. For several reasons. The first one is the way he views you. I know we all say things we don't mean especially out of anger. So maybe you should just clarify and make sure if it was just something that was said in the midst of frustration.

Next, your dog. That would worry me. Does he not like animals or is it just this particular animal. Also, was this done during a fight?

Finally, after you've gotten everything squared away and your questions ansered maybe you should move on? I've always said that I would rather be unhappy by myself than be with someone and be unhappy.
