Do you let you children wear sandles in the summer? My daughter has a pair

they rub blisters on her feet. We are on our way out now to get her another pair. They are the right size, they just rub her toe. Hopefully getting a different brand will solve the issue.

Sandals are good, I think, and certainly fun for kids to run around in. When your feet are able to breathe, it can make you feel cooler. However, I have found that sandals aren't the best choice for lots of walking. The problems I have stem from tiny bits of grit that sometimes get under my foot and rub a sore spot before I really notice.

i am sorry if i am off the topic,as i don't have kids but i wear sandals myself and they are always rubbing my toes and any pair of sandals no matter the model or brand ,they leave scars on my feet.. maybe i have a sensitive skin,or maybe i am just bad in buying shoes:))

My mom had to buy my sister several pairs of sandles already because they rubbed and made sores on her toes, top, and side of her feet. She has a wide foot so it is harder to find shoes and sandles that doens't hurt her feet. It can be costly also. Hope you find a pair that is doens't hurt her feet and maybe buy 2 pairs never know when you somehting might happen to the other pair.

This has happened to my kids, it all depends on the sandals. If we're going somewhere that requires a lot of walking I make sure they wear comfortable shoes, and sandals are only worn when playing around the yard where they can easily go change if they have a problem.
This is one reason I like to buy the kid's shoes second hand. Obviously I make sure they are in decent enough shape, but if we end up having a problem, at least I didn't spend too much money on them.
