We had corn on the cob last night. We had decided to buy fresh corn from the store the other day. It is so sweet and yummy! It was on sale too. I will be taking some of it and putting it in vacume seal bags with butter and freeze it for later when corn is not as good or not available.

That is a great idea, I do this with onions and peppers all of the time.. I will have to get some corn in the freezer for the winter months.. I also do this with green tomatoes, I slice them and freeze each slice individually, then bag them so we can have fried green tomatoes during the winter also..

I love corn on the cob. As a matter of fact my husband planted two rows of corn in our garden this past year. I also like to cream it and put it in the freezer. Nothing like fresh corn in the winter.

I love corn on the cob. I like the corn you buy from the farmers that sell it on the street corners. The ones in the grocery store never seem to taste as good. I haven't seen them selling it yet so the good stuff must not be qutie ready yet.

I do love it. You can freeze it in the husk also and it cooks up good.

I love fresh corn on the cob. I get it a few times a month. My kids love it too. My 18 month old daughter even requests her own ear of corn at dinner time. She just gnaws away at it. I want to get a vacuum sealer for stuff like that. What kind do you have? Does it work well?
